"ZOE, are you going to bring Runa to the Plaza for shopping?"

"Yes, Father," Zoe said while standing in front of her father's desk. The marquis summoned her in the study after he heard that she'd be going out with Runa. "Isaak was supposed to pick us up, but his meeting with His Majesty took longer than expected. So, we just decided to meet at the Plaza to save time."

After all, Runa couldn't stay outside late. Aside from the fact that it was dangerous at night, the young princess's appetite would change into that of a ghoul's at six PM. Thus, they had to go home before that.

Thankfully, even though smartphones didn't exist in this world, communication devices did. She and Isaak were able to talk to each other using a stylish, magical monocle glass. To say that she was impressed the first time she used it would be an understatement.
