Capítulo 40: THE FIRST KISS, THE CONFESSION

That day, Irene is the one who woke up first.  It's just 5 a.m., but she can't seem to fall back asleep after that.  Her body feels so tired and hurt here and there, but she still forces herself to get up from lying down.

After that, she's stretching a bit to ease her muscle with her eyes that now fixed on the man who was accompanying her last night in the corner of the room.  Still sleep soundlessly on the sofa with his hands, hugging his cold body.  His blanket is long gone, falling on the floor.

Irene smiles a bit after seeing that.

She felt a little guilty for asking the man to accompany her and making the man sleep in such an uncomfortable state.  But, she is thankful as the man is kind enough to take her request, not even rejecting or questioning.

Slowly, not wanting to surprise the man because the day was still too early.  Irene tried to get out from the bed.

"Ah..."  She moaned in pain slowly.
