"so what you are saying is that you are on a journey to slay all demons and the man from before is this demon ?"
Said ana as she pointed at the corpse of a demonic strange creature
"Yes, that's why I entered your cave. Please pardon me," Yone replied with a respectful bow.
"No, no, that's fine. But how do you track them? And why are you okay with me? I mean, I'm not that different from the demon. In fact, I think I might be more dangerous," Ana mused, a hint of wry humor tugging at her words.
The warrior, Yone, gazed at Ana for a moment before explaining, "I am tracking demons, not ancient beasts."
"Hey, that's rude!! Who are you calling an ancient beast!!! I'm only 20 years old, and besides, I'm not a beast!!!" Ana retorted, her frustration tinged with a touch of theatrical indignation.
Ana : "Hey what's even this 'theatrical indignation' thing ಠ益ಠ
"..."
Yone remained silent, seemingly unsure how to respond to Ana's spirited protest. The cave bore witness to this odd yet somehow amusing exchange
Yone found himself genuinely amused by the giant monster before him. Initially prepared for a fierce battle, he had steeled himself for a fight he might not emerge from victorious. Yet, to his surprise, the creature wasn't as hostile as he had anticipated.
He recalled tales of a formidable warrior from the Shuriman deserts, Renekton, a legendary beast said to be capable of single-handedly toppling entire nations. This creature's appearance raised concerns that it might be the very same, given the resemblance.
However, the creature's behavior was much more amicable than Yone had anticipated. This left him pondering whether he truly faced Renekton or an entirely different entity altogether.
Lost in contemplation, Yone was suddenly jolted from his reverie by Ana's piercing gaze. Her crocodile eyes bore into him as she addressed him with a sharp tone.
"Hey, rude samurai, what are you thinking of? Can you hear me? Hello?!" Ana's voice echoed in the cave, each word a resounding demand for attention. She punctuated her words by waving her massive lizard hand in front of Yone's face.
Startled, Yone's hand instinctively went to the hilt of his sword, wary of a potential attack from the beast. However, as he realized Ana's intention was simply to get his attention, he slowly withdrew his hand, allowing it to fall away from the weapon.
"Whoaaa, did you really think I'd attack you? Hahaha, don't worry, little samurai. I don't go after humans if they don't come after me, you know!" ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`) Ana proclaimed, a mischievous glint dancing in her crocodile eyes. Her tone was lighthearted, carrying a touch of smugness that hung in the air like a playful challenge.
"By the way, I wanted to ask you, how are you able to understand me?" Ana inquired, her crocodile eyes fixed on Yone with a genuine curiosity.
