Capítulo 26: Rescued Airi

"General Lorenzo is here! Don't make a move! You'll be defeated if you try anything!"

Busho's hand glints. Upon closer inspection, a small knife is pressed against Airi's throat.

"Mmmph!"

"Shut up!!"

Airi pales, tears filling her eyes.

"Lorenzo, Ryker, don't move! If you so much as twitch, I'll kill this brat!"

The threat lacks effectiveness. Neither Lorenzo nor I care much, and while I wouldn't mind the kid disappearing, it would complicate things. Plus, even if I told the truth, the Marquis wouldn't believe me if Airi were killed.

Especially, If I claimed she was killed by Busho, who is her protector, well I should call him nanny.

Let's just listen to what he has to say for now.

"Busho, why are you doing this?"
