Capítulo 157: The first layer of the Zhu Family

"Boss… you didn't have to lie to her."

Dominic maintained a stony countenance, eyes down.

Why did he lie?

To be honest, Dominic was unsure himself. Perhaps he wanted to add more emotional and mental distress to the person who assaulted his wife. Or maybe he wanted her to lose her mind, believing her parent's murderer was walking free while she was locked up because she failed in her revenge plan. Either way, Dominic just wanted to hurt her for what she had done. 

"Chief, make sure she regrets her actions every second of the day." Dominic cast the chief a stern look. "I don't care how you will do it for as long as she is breathing."

The chief looked at Dominic with a bit of surprise and then sighed, nodding. "Leave it to me. My men will know what to do. Is that all you want? For her to keep breathing?"

"That's all." Dominic walked away while the chief stayed on his spot, eyes on Dominic's back.
