Capítulo 47: Chapter45-Lilith's Defiance

"You indeed lost a ring, but it's impossible that so many people stole your one ring. You should investigate thoroughly before drawing conclusions," Lilith said coldly.

"Respected sheriff, do I need a conclusion to execute my slaves? They are merely my property; if I want them dead, they should die!" the farm owner exclaimed loudly.

He couldn't understand why Lilith was doing this. 

Had he ever offended her? 

Why was she troubling him?

"Enough!" Leo raised his hand, somewhat helplessly trying to stop the argument. 

He looked at Lilith, speaking softly, "You should focus on things within your responsibility."

Lilith looked at Leo, her eyes conveying disappointment. 

Instead of turning to leave, she strode towards the burly men and said in a cold voice, "Leave!"

The men looked at each other. 

They were guards nurtured by the farm owner and, in theory, only followed his orders.
