Despite offers of help from Yuri and her friends, the planet's residents insisted that they had enough hands on deck. They argued that Yuri's team had already struggled enough against the insectoids and deserved some rest.

Yuri took their insistence in stride. Seeing that the planet had ample manpower and machines for the job, she went about her usual routine. Daily classes, psychic power exercises, and the occasional check-in on the frontlines via the interstellarnet kept her occupied.

Three days passed in this manner. One day, as Yuri was in the middle of a class, the sudden thudding on her lev door startled her. She rolled down the window to find a visibly anxious Ender.

"Tuz got into a fight," Ender blurted out.

Surprised, Yuri asked, "Did he hurt someone?"
