"All I wanted was to accompany him to a nearby city, and I never asked him to go to Xi'an. No matter how close Xi'an was, there was no need to go somewhere that wasn't his destination," Cheon Yeo-hwa thought.

"Why are you curious about that?"

Leo was taken aback by her cold voice, which was the complete opposite of her attitude when she was eating chocolate.

"There's no particular reason," she replied cautiously. "Don't forget, I'm only accompanying you to Xi'an."

She spoke so firmly that Leo thought, 'This girl reminds me of the girls in my school days. Did I tease her too much...?'

Except for Iris, he had never really had a proper conversation with girls his age, so Leo didn't know how to respond.

He had no choice but to quietly walk a little further away.

'Oh, right. Iris is 500 years old, right?'

But aside from her age, Cheon Yeo-hwa seemed younger than him overall, so he couldn't really think of her as 500 years old.
