Everyone looked at things with interest, even the fairies were observing things quietly from Klaus's head
"This final match will bring honour to our academy, we can't take little risks just because we are getting lazy
This time no one is gonna hold back, rather than holding back and pushing yourself to the limits! This match will be seen all over the place
Even your family will be watching this from the magic crystals, if you become careless you think of embarrassing yourself in the whole world!
So as I planned, Reus and I will be going in front of Pette and..."
Klaus explained to them all the plan and told them about different strategies according to different situations during this clash

Klaus heard her and turned and muttered under his breath so that only she can hear with an extremely serious face
"You think a plot where the protagonist losing his confidence won't demand any sacrifice? Thousands will die in future if this plot remains the same
This lost confidence will unconsciously demand thousands of sacrifices..."
Cassie looked at Klaus with a weird gaze, not understanding a single thing
'Plot? Sacrifices? Protagonist?'
Cassie finally gave up with a stupified face, Klaus tossed all fairies blocking good gaze to side with a wave of his hand like a fly and looked towards Reus and the team and said
"And take my one piece of advice before this match... Don't you fucking dare underestimate the opponents and even have a thought of being superior, of anyone of you even had a tiniest though of that
I swear to gods, I will beat you to death in that competition before any enemy does anything!"
As Klaus finished those words all of them felt the shivers right down their spines and nodded like obedient puppies
Klaus observed them with serious gaze and gave one final advice
"None of you will go around helping anyone on your team if they are facing difficulty, it will break the whole base of the plan
If you come there to help another guy you will be risking the position of the whole team because of your immature decisions
Then let's move out!"
As Klaus was about to move out suddenly Reus stood up and commented
"I disagree!"
Klaus turned around with a tiredness and 'are you serious now?' face and asked
"Reason?"
Reus smiled with the same confident protagonist aura and said in an extremely confident tone
"I can't let my comrade face danger just to win a single competition here! If I did that I might win the competition but lose in life!"
Everyone in the room looked towards Reus with admiration in their eyes, Klaus approached Reus without any word and said
"Reus... You..."
Reus also looked at Klaus thinking Klaus had understood him but next moment a strong fist crushed both his confidence and face
"You fucking dumb fool! You dare lecture about life lessons to me when you haven't even stepped out of the capital of your territory even once!
What is loose in life? You will be bringing down the whole reputation of the academy and all of our families too!
I'm the leader here! Listen to what I say, you can use your logic when I'm not here, don't tell me what to do in front of me!"
Another fist crushed Reus's remaining confidence with another strike
Now Reus's both cheeks had swollen into red balloons and he simply nodded without any question
'Ahh~ Why is he beating me like my sister, even though both Klaus and big sis are only one year older than me, why must I suffer like this!'
Reus stubbornly regretted in his heart with puffed face and rebellious eyes, but just as his eyes had those fiery look in them Klaus immediately turned back and showed his fist with cold glaring eyes and said
"... You suffer because you are dumb, anyone else wants to share there opinions?"
Klaus said that but his sword was already out of cover and that tyrant like presence didn't show any options to give opinions here
Everyone just shook their heads like cute kids, Klaus nodded and opened the bright door and commanded
"That's what I thought, then let's go!"
Everyone nodded while on their way Ariana healed the swollen cheeks of Reus too and everyone followed him out for the final stage of competition
"Now for the finals of the Global Competition!!!
Firstly we have the epic warriors from '1000th Sakura School', even before they came to competition all of them had made incredible achievements
Along with advantages of being Onis they have monstrous skills of warriors with heavy blunt blades!!!
The team led by the 'Oni princess' herself known for her battle sense throughout the East and heir of some of them top bloodlines of the world!!!!"
As the announcer said, with full excitement a huge cheer echoed throughout the arena that could be heard all around the city
The Onis had gained incredible popularity since the beginning of competition because of smooth matches and simply over whelming abilities
Of course the princess of Onis was the one who got most, in any corner of world just being attractive can make you popular but the Oni princess had skills and charisma too so it wasn't even a question for her to not get popular
As the Onis entered the stage the cheers kept going higher and higher
The announcer took another breath and pointed on the other side and announced
"And on the other side we have our miraculous students from Genesis Academy of Heroes with the 'Hero' as the leader, the young master of Whiteblood Duke Family!
Klaus De Whiteblood, the hero of Empire, Saint of the World, and the slayer of evil along with his team!"
As the announcer said that another incredible cheer echoed throughout the arena it was much more louder and stronger than the last one
As the cheers echoed Klaus and his team entered the stage in their usual combat suit, as usual Klaus was the centre of attraction, Reus the real Protagonist had been suppressed to a tiny corner by Klaus's presence
'Well it feels pretty over the top but if this can bring down the arrogance of Reus then it's a good thing right?'
Klaus grinned and gave a simple sweet smile to crowd, Klaus noticed various familiar faces including his own personal knights and mages disguised as commoners and waving hands like pups
The church priests holding a huge banner to cheer Klaus looking almost like a suspicious cult in white clothings
The adventurers and commoners who were simply feeling blessed seeing Saint and the saviour who helped them immensely throughout their lives
Somehow even Ain, Ashia and Arno also arrived at the competition, they were disguised but not trying to hide their presences
They stood out a lot, all of them had that charisma and out of ordinary presence, all three were waving banners with confident smug faces
The fairies also dashed away from the competition field and went to Ain and Ashia
The Onis looked amazed by Klaus's popularity and muttered among themselves
"Wow, he's really popular here..."
"Damn, I feel jealous now!"
"He must be as strong as the rumours then!"
"Ahhh! Look at all those girls with heart in their eyes! Gyaaahhhh! So jealous!!!"
Klaus smirked and his gaze met the Oni princess, it seemed like some kind of match had already started in those committing fiery eyes

The announcer analysed the situation and after finding the right time he announced the beginning of the match
"Start!!!"

As the announcer said that both Klaus and Oni princess dashed against each other without any kind of delay
Including Reus, there was no one in that arena which wasn't surprised by this, those movements were beyond words
The ground behind Klaus and the Oni princess became a big carter in the ground 30% of the duel area got destroyed at just the beginning of that match
None present there except for few who could easily be counted in fingers of one hand managed to follow that movement
Both Klaus and Oni princess clashed against each other in air, the ground area below them completely shattered from sheer pressure
The Oni princess was blocking Klaus's sword strike and Klaus was blocking her fist
The next moment both released each other and started clashing again, Klaus just blocked a combination attack of 9 heavy sword strikes by simple movements of good sword and looked very amazed
'No wonder even Reus the protagonist couldn't take her strikes and was lost badly in the novel...
She is such a monster, her combat power already matches a Tier 6, get Apollo what's her Tier?'

Two of Onis escaped from the grasp of melee fighters and rushed directly at Ariana and Sam who were supporters of team
"That was easy!"
"Grit your teeth!!!"
The Onis shouted in excitement but next moment a grin appeared on Sam and Ariana's face too

Klaus saw the glance of this and with grin praised himself
'Hehehe, of course the team of Protagonist can't be ordinary although they were supposed to get these kinds of techniques almost 4 years later when Reus was still in depression
With someone like me, it's a piece of cake, let's just hope they don't lose face after doing so much!'
"Hey! Don't look down on me!!!"
The Oni princess noticed Klaus's face and with annoyance and eyes filled in rage she made a strong blunt Sword swing towards Klaus face
But Klaus managed to deflect that attack with his sword and launched his fist towards Oni princess

The Oni princess somehow blocked that attack with her palm but just then Klaus grinned and said
"Don't try to make sneak attacks while shouting..."
The Oni princess was confused but next moment a big impact appeared all over hands that blocked Klaus's fist and she was pushed far back in air like a loose cannon
But on the other hand the audience all over the arena was still in daz because of Sam's and Ariana's unexpected move
The Onis who received those blows looked towards Sam and Ariana in daze and surprise but next moment they once again dashed towards them in zig zag motion
Sam and Ariana grinned and also moved towards them with those tightened fists
As this match was going on Reus, Yumiko and Pette were clashing with 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranked Onis
Reus somehow looked far stronger than before, he really managed to break his limits of skills and even now he was fighting while reading the moves of his opponents and making most perfect counters
Yumiko also never showed any mercy on getting the opponent, as the blades of both Yumiko and her opponent clashed big sparks of Flame appeared between them
Pette wasn't as good as them but he wasn't underrated in least, you can tell from the gap that was forming all over the ground because of Pette just what kind of monster he was
Pette wasn't showing any gracefulness in those strikes, he was a complete savage, the sword strikes were completely unpredictable and strong as hell
It was clear that even if just one strike landed on Pette's opponent, the match between them will get decided in seconds
But his opponent to his bad luck was faster but even then the gap between pette's sword and her wasn't much, she barely escaped by almost inches of blade
As these matches were going on with pure skills and raw strength Anna on other hand was completely no match for the Onis in direct fight and she had no space to hide as Archer in this place
So just according to Klaus's plan she was using hit a run method, she attacked all Onis from time to time and distract them for a minor moment
And as she did that she also dodged attacks of Oni chasing after her, she jumped on his face, reflected the damage and this time she even used her bow as blade to escape the enemy's grasp
She was just like a small slippery fish in the wild ocean being chased by bigger fish
But Anna was incredibly agile and fast to get caught by them
Everyone was showing epic level skills in this match, this was the most intensive match of the competition
It was clear that even if only a person on any team lost, the whole team was going to collapse, these both teams looked like they were maintaining balance with needle tips
And all the major attention was gathered over Reus and Klaus's battle
Reus was growing in skills even during the match, his eyes were moving faster than his sword and those eyes were reading the moves and techniques of his opponent at same time finding the counter
'What a monster... Klaus was so influential that we almost forgot this guy here...'
Reus's opponent gritted his teeth and looked at Reus with awe and respect too
Reus was continually targeting his shoulders, waist and chest after finding proper opening and dodging or deflecting his attacks
His growth rate was extremely monstrous, it was enough to prove that just because Klaus had gathered all glory to reduce the ignorant attitude to Reus
It never stopped Reus from growing, Klaus had only one motive by maintaining all his popularity that was to stop the Reus's popularity rise
According to the novel Reus had made absurd decisions as he got more and more popular and he had authority to do them too
But just then Klaus popped in like a crashing ball to crush his over the top of imaginations, Klaus was practically working as balancer to stop Reus who went crazy from time to time
Just like in the present situation, suddenly Anna got attacked by the swing of a large blunt Sword from the Oni chasing after her
Anna jumped directly on top of the blunt Sword but next moment a sudden pressure attacked her legs sending her down like a loose cannon
"Kugh!!!"
Anna caught her hands which were injured during the process, the Oni grinned and approached her slowly with a grin
Everyone noticed this but they still concentrated on their duels only Reus was the crazy bastard
Reus didn't even think twice before rushing to help Anna, Reus immediately struck the Oni approaching her with his sword
The Oni was sent dozens of meters away by that strike but next moment the 2nd Oni which had been fighting with Reus till now suddenly appeared behind them with a grin and said
"You are too naive Reus..."
Klaus noticed this nerve popped out in his head as he muttered in his heart
'I literally told you just one advice to follow yet this duck?!!'

Klaus immediately created a good distance from Oni princess by launching a surprise strike to get waist
Oni princess blocked that but got pushed back a lot, Klaus opened his right hand in air and next moment hundreds of sword projectiles appeared in air
Next moment all those projectiles dashed towards the direction of the 2nd Oni approaching Reus
And with all those Swords landed on ground like bullets fired by advanced machine gun from air
"Hey! Watch before you strike?!! Ughhhh!!!"
Reus barely dodged all those Swords like a jumping snake and fell in ground but just then one sword fell only a few centimeters away from his human making machine balls
Klaus smirked and next moment Reus noticed both the 2nd Oni and the one attacking Anna had been eliminated
"How dare you!!!!"
But just then Klaus got struck by the blade of Oni princess from his back, Klaus immediately reacted to that strike but it was still not completely unscathed dodge
Klaus for a huge strike on his back but Klaus still managed to put his sword in the back, as a result
The combat suit's upper part got completely destroyed and Klaus barely saved his skin from getting ripped apart
Klaus turned back his head and noticed the red horn of Oni princess shining in dark red light and those resolution in eyes
"Let's go hard then..."
