"I can handle myself," I hissed at my bodyguards as I sent them away. "Don't stand by the toilet, people won't want to come in."
They looked at each other, clearly fearful of both Alexander's and my family's wrath if something happened to me.
"One female bodyguard inside with me," I negotiated with them. "And she has to be discreet."
"Miss what if you just use the more secure one—"
"No, now leave," I hissed as I marched into the toilet and slammed the door behind me.
I needed to put some space between me and my fiancée.
"Miss Lilith, I'll be out here," a shy voice said from the outside the cubicle I was in.
"Thank you," I managed to say as I went about my business.
We had been inside for a few minutes when I heard people entering.
I didn't want to cause a scene by coming out of the cubicle so I decided to wait for them to leave.
"I can't believe he fucking fired you?!" I heard Janet's familiar shriek.
