Oscar seemed a bit off when he returned to the car. I was hoping he would share what was bothering him without asking, but as things were, I knew it was best I kept my curiosity to myself. He had that ' do not disturb' look on his face.
" I was hoping to spend the evening at the park." he finally spoke and I smiled. Maybe there wasn't any trouble. I might have just been reading meanings to his facial expression, besides, it was impossible for me to know how he felt.
The park was empty when we got there. It was as if the people had got wind of our arrival and cleared out. It was a private park, therefore I suspected Oscar might have booked ahead. I wonder why he would go through this much trouble for his plaything. I kept my remarks to myself hoping not to spoil the mood. He was a big shot, maybe he didn't want to be disturbed.
