Adrian's hand trailed further to Keira's calves and stopped at the back of her foot. Keira winced from the stinging sensation and watched, both enchanted and a little freaked out, as Adrian brought his fingers back with smeared blood on them.

Her lips parted as he sucked on the tips of his fingers, holding her gaze. Goddess, why was that kind of… hot? Jeez, she needed therapy or something. That shouldn't have made her feel the way she did.

Why was Adrian always vying for her attention anyway? It didn't make any sense.

This wasn't the first time they'd flirted, but it had been nothing more than that. In Broken Fang, Keira could relax more. Nobody knew who she was, and any responsibilities that weighed her down vanished.

"What are you doing here anyway?" Keira cleared her throat and pulled away from his orbit. It was hard enough being intoxicated around such a guy.
