Capítulo 139: How can a Phoenix be Afraid of Fire?

Room of Requirement. In the grounds of the Fantastic Beasts section. A young girl tilted her head and looked at Blake curiously.

Blake was holding a large bag of Bowtruckles at this time. He was letting the Bowtruckles on the holly tree come down for dinner.

That holly tree where the Bowtruckles hung out had long been transplanted by Blake to the Room of Requirement.

The young bird looked at those green-headed and green-brained little things.

If only Blake hadn't stopped her in the first place, she would have smashed them in her mouth. In fact, she really wanted to eat two to try the taste. Maybe they were crunchy like fried chicken?

Blake put a plate of woodjacks under the tree. Sometimes Blake let the Bowtruckles find their own meals, but in most instances, he provided for them.

Then looking at the young bird, he asked, "Would you like some fish?"

The young bird nodded. Wanting to eat the Bowtruckle was actually wanting to try something new just to see if they were delicious or not, but the plump salmon was more to her liking.

Blake had a lot of fresh fish in his system warehouse. This was because he used them to feed his bear. Now Big Bear is looking for a female bear to mate with in the Forbidden Forest. So now these fresh fish were all for the young bird.

Since the were only two magical animals in the Room of Requirement, Blake scratched his head.

"Time to make Poke Balls. Then come back with more Fantastic Beasts. In that case, it would look more lively here."

Then, Blake took out a branch. It was the same holly branch that the Bowtruckle had given him earlier. He stuck the branch in the ground and snapped his fingers.

A mass of crimson flames hovered above the branches. Although the Gubraithian Immortal Flame had the same destructive power as the Fiendfyre Curse.

But under Blake's deliberate control, it didn't hurt the holly branches underneath.

Compared with Fiendfyre Curse, the manoeuvrability of this was not known how many grades higher it was.

Gubraithian fairy fire, known as the eternal fire that will never go out. It was not only used as an attack spell! If it was only used as the Fierce Fire Curse. Then this reward is not worthy of the Supreme Treasure Chest.

However, for alchemists. The value of Gubraithian Immortal Fire is immeasurable! It was an easy-to-use flame that can make the alchemy process easier!

Simply speaking, using the Gubraithian Immortal Fire, which has a temperature comparable to that of the Fiendfyre Curse, to purify the material will increase the quality of the finished product more than that of ordinary flames.

Especially some metals dedicated to alchemy. Ordinary flames can't melt them quickly.

But this kind of flame with a temperature similar to that of the Fiendfye Curse could do it! This is also one of the reasons why Blake felt ecstasy after seeing it.

But these were not the most important part. The most important thing... was what best embodied the value of the eternal fire! That's the energy that the Eternal Fire can provide! The eternal flame. Isn't it just infinite energy?

This alone was enough to make it eligible to appear in the Supreme Treasure Chest. Because the energy is unlimited, it will never tire, Blake was so happy from ear to ear.

Just as Blake was sitting on the ground watching the Gubraithian flame silly. The young bird came over suddenly.

Then she swallowed the fairy fire on the branch in one gulp!

"Ah?"

Blake looked at the innocent young bird who was his ice phoenix. His mind was full of question marks.

"Where is my fire? Did you just swallow such a big fire?"

"Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! (I have eaten it, very delicious, is there any more?)"

The young phoenix tilted her head to look at Blake and pouted. There were still sparks on her mouth... She was still too young, so she could not use human language to communicate.

"No... aren't you a Frost Phoenix? Why are you not afraid of fire?"

"Chirp? Chirp? Chirp? ( A Phoenix afraid of fire? Are you sure you are okay?)"

"But... this is Gubraithian Immortal Flame! It is not a little different from Fiendfyre!"

"Chirp? Chirp? Chirp? (Is this supposed to be hot?)"

"This... No matter how powerful it is, it is still fire..."

"Chirp! Chirp! Chirp! (That's it, Phoenixes are not afraid of fire, so, is there any more?)"

Blake scratched his head.

"Yes, there is, as long as I have enough physical strength and magic power, you can have as much fire as I want."

Blake snapped his fingers.

On the holly tree branch, a group of Gubraithian Immortal fire appeared again.

Then-...

"Gulp!"

"Chirp? Chirp? Chirp? (Any more?)"

Blake watched the Gubraithian Immortal fire disappear on the holly tree.

"So fast! This fire was unquenchable... Can you really digest it?"

Blake reached out and touched Frost Phoenix's belly. Ice cold! That was all he felt.

"Chirp!"

"Hey, you pecked me?"

"Chirp! (No touching there! That is horrible!)"

"I actually think it's a reward for their violation of school rules! I don't think you need to be angry with them. It's just two stupid kids."

The door to the Room of Requirement was opened. Cassandra and an exasperated Hermione walked in.

After a night of experience in the Forbidden Forest. Now Cassandra's mentality is very stable.

'I already survived being so scared.'

What else can cause fluctuations in her current state of mind? Oh... there is indeed such a person.

At this moment, Blake was trying to put something into the young bird's mouth.

"You can eat right?"

"Chirp!" The young bird raised her neck, full of pride.

Then it turned into a faint blue light and disappeared in the next second.

"Huh? Blake, how come there are red feathers on the wings of the Ice Phoenix?"

"They were not there yesterday."

The young bird herself had been blue all over. Suddenly there are one or two red feathers at the end of her wings. It looked very dazzling.

"I fed her some fire, so it just... changed a little bit," Blake explained.

The Gubraithian fire of immortality will never be extinguished. So even if the young bird swallowed it, she could only slowly absorb it. As soon as she absorbed it, they all noticed the anomaly.

The first was the extra red feathers. Secondly, in the skill column which only Blake saw, there was an extra column of entries for Gubraithian Immortal Fire. It was proof that she could use this magic now too.

In the end, Blake found that she had several extra free attribute points! Even the long evolutionary magic power bar has increased a little.

This proved that the Gubraithian Immortal Fire actually had the effect of strengthening her body! This came as a surprise to Blake.

"Feed her fire?" Cassandra and Hermione looked at Blake. It was like watching some pervert who abused pets.

"Tsk, it's not that I want to experiment, it's she who swallowed my alchemy fire in one gulp, and then asked me if I have..." Blake explained aggrievedly.

"She is an ice phoenix! Can she really eat fire?" Cassandra asked.

Blake said proudly, "What are you talking about? She is a phoenix! How can a phoenix be afraid of fire?"

The two girls thought about it, and it was indeed the truth.
