Capítulo 55: Persistence

Returning to her regular routine was enough to put Sophia in a better mood. However, two days off without Luca made her life feel a little bit empty. Outside of regular errands she had to do, she would lounge around doing a whole lot of nothing. 

Most would probably think she was wasting her twenties away but she was satisfied with the mundane. Her childhood was tumultuous enough that all she wanted was peace. 

Luckily she had his number and could talk to him whenever she wanted to. Even if she couldn't hear his voice, seeing him figure out emojis and gifs for the first time was endlessly entertaining. She had a feeling no one would believe her if she showed them the flowery or animated messages she received on occasion. She had a feeling that those who knew him before would be surprised at how he was with her.
