Capítulo 117: In Need of Comfort

There was a moment where it felt like a train had crashed right in front of Luca, or at least that's what his mind sounded like the moment Sophia said something about someone else being more compatible with him than her. 

Rightfully so, he was confused. He wasn't there to hear what Angelo said to her nor did he know that the man had tried to stir the pot in the first place. 

Seeing that Sophia was emotional due to her abduction, he tried to approach the situation gently even though he felt like he was in the dark. 

"Sophia," he said, his voice touching on desperation. "Where is this coming from?" 

She knew that it wasn't fair to do this to him after all the guilt he was already feeling and the way he was burdened with the situation. Yet as she said the words, they couldn't stop. 

It made her wonder if she would ever feel the same or if she would always be that sensitive. She felt so unstable.
