Normally Rachel could trust herself, but with Sophia and Luca being gone, she was worried she was going to get out of control.

Unfortunately, in the two weeks she had been seeking suppressants, she had failed to secure a doctor's appointment or a connection that could give her suppressants even without one.

It felt too embarrassing to go to Luca for something like that so all she could do was put in place plans for her rut and lock herself in her room.

Ethan had clients anyway so she would at least be able to avoid him and his pheromones. The last workout session they had two days before was painful and she had cancelled the following two mornings.

Her first rut without her wife felt like a slow release. She felt on the verge of it for two days, wondering when it would happen.

Early in the morning, when Sophia and Luca were set to leave, she knew it was starting.
