“I see your mind is caught up with the black book.” Lelia said, chewing her lips.
“That's what we want, isn't it?” Janeka said.
“Indeed.” Lelia blurted. The crow was a flesh-eating creature, a tall headless monster with an axe and a bag made of animal skin with thick leather straps that hung across its shoulders. It was the harvest bag, Justin noticed from the picture its sharp curved claws, that extended from its limbs and hands.
“That's what we are going to kill.” Janeka said.
“We don't have much of a choice.” Earnestine said.
“We do. We came here to get information about our father and you are just making things worse.” Janeka blared. Lelia closed her eyes, she exhaled deeply before opening them back and whispering a spell, the book from her hands disappeared returning to its shelf. She turned to them snapping her fingers and they all shut their mouths up.
