Jasmine finally arrived at the place by teleporting her car to the wooded area, fifty meters away from the mansion.

She was staring at the burnt-down structure of the mansion where the majority of her happy childhood memories were created and just now wiped out.

Tears shimmered in her eyes.

The cook saw her and hurried to her side. "My condolences, Ma'am Jasmine, it's already confirmed by the investigators that your grandmother died in the fire in the basement along with Mooren. The investigator confirmed the number of persons who perished in the fire, a total of three. The rest of us were able to leave the house immediately. We did everything we could to put out the fire but in the end, all our efforts were in vain."

Jasmine nodded her head in defeat. "Grandma is gone..." she said sadly and wept silently.

The cook didn't leave the distraught woman's side, trying to show her support to her grieving charge.
