Under the radiant midday sun, a pirate ship bearing a black flag emerged from a milky white fog wall, rejoining the vast expanse of the North Sea after an extended absence. The flag's emblem was not the typical human skull, but the distinctive dragon skull favored by the native bay residents of the North, adorned with a knight's sword and a pirate's curved dagger crossed beneath it. The only deviation from tradition was the blood dripping from the corner of the skull's mouth.
