Capítulo 62: Chapter 62 Harry And Ron Caught In The Present

"Okay, hurry to school! I'll go check on Harry and Ron to make sure they're safe!" Upon getting off the train at Hogsmeade Station, Eisen stowed away his scope and addressed Hermione and Ginny.

"Okay, Professor Eisen. We'll see you at school!" Hermione waved goodbye and then pulled Ginny away.

Eisen found the way students were admitted to Hogwarts quite interesting.

Before the Hogwarts Express was established, young wizards used Portkeys to get to school. Unfortunately, nearly half of the little wizards each year couldn't find the Portkey, or the transportation went wrong, preventing them from making it to school.

Now, first-year students are led by Hagrid to the school via boat across the Black Lake. Meanwhile, students from second to seventh grade ride in Thestral carriages around Hogwarts Castle after disembarking from the bus before entering the school through the gates.

This special ceremony may not hold much significance for Eisen, but it is likely a cherished tradition at Hogwarts.

As Eisen exited the carriage, he activated the God View, and instantly, he was aware of everything within a five-mile radius. As he had expected, Harry and Ron were flying the car toward Hogwarts, though they still had a distance to cover.

Provided nothing went wrong, the two would land successfully at Hogwarts before the car sustained any damage, but they would likely crash into the Whomping Willow and be beaten up along with the car.

Eisen glanced at the throng of students rushing toward Hogwarts Castle and walked directly toward the Whomping Willow.

He reached the edge of the Whomping Willow, and after waiting a few minutes, he saw a car flying over the fence, soaring from the greenhouse and vegetable field, and hurtling straight toward the Whomping Willow.

"Come on, stop! Stop!"

"Watch out for that tree!"

Eisen could hear Ron and Harry's panicked voices. If all went according to plan, the car driven by the two would indeed crash into the Whomping Willow, and they would be thrashed about by its branches.

But since Eisen was there, he was determined to save them. From his divine perspective, he focused on Harry, drew out his wand, and pointed it at him.

A playing card flew out of Harry's body, the "∞" symbol glowing brightly, before flying out of the car and transforming into a metal ball that enveloped the vehicle.

The loud sound of metal colliding with trees rang out across the silent grassland. Because the shape of the metal ball differed significantly from that of the car, it didn't get stuck in the tree, but instead, was halted and immediately bounced backward, falling to the ground a short distance away.

The Whomping Willow's branches flailed a few times, but because they couldn't reach the car, it ultimately remained still.

After the metal ball bounced to the ground, it transformed back into a playing card and slipped into Harry's pocket.

"I knew it! It must have been Professor Eisen who saved us!" Harry exclaimed, excitement filling his voice.

"That was amazing—ah—" Ron nodded, but before he could finish his sentence, he screamed as he was ejected from the car. Not sure whether the car had been enchanted, Harry and Ron were both tossed out as well.

"Ah—my wand—" As soon as Ron stood up, he realized his wand was completely broken, with only a few thin splinters still connected. Ron, who had been thrilled to be saved moments before, suddenly screamed in despair.

Bang! Bang!

The trunk of the car opened automatically, ejecting the suitcases of the two boys.

Technically, they didn't need to bring suitcases, since they had the storage rings from Eisen. However, it was clear that the two young wizards opted to bring them to conceal the existence of the rings.

"You guys are incredible! It's one thing not to take the Hogwarts Express, but to fly here in a car? If Hermione and Ginny hadn't informed me, you might have ended up seriously hurt!" Eisen regarded the two with a stern expression.

Although he didn't really need to chastise them, as a professor, he felt it was important to address their mistakes.

"Professor Eisen, we missed the train!" Harry said, biting his lip and clutching Hedwig's cage, explaining in a subdued tone.

"That's right! Platform nine and three-quarters was blocked, so we couldn't get through!" Ron quickly chimed in, eager to support Harry's explanation.

"However, you could have used an owl to write to Headmaster Dumbledore or Professor McGonagall!" Eisen's stern expression softened a bit as he pointed meaningfully at the owl in Harry's arms.

True, although Ron's pet was Scabbers the rat, Harry had Hedwig with him.

"Uh, I—I didn't think of that—" Harry stammered, realizing how obvious it was in hindsight.

"Oh—come with me. I hope Headmaster Dumbledore and the others will be willing to hear your explanation later!" Eisen raised an eyebrow, gestured for the two to follow, and then walked toward the castle.

Harry and Ron exchanged glances before following him, heads hanging low.

The journey was silent, and an awkward atmosphere settled in. Even though Eisen walked ahead, he occasionally activated his observation feature to monitor Harry and Ron's expressions from behind.

I must say, the enhanced observation abilities were incredibly convenient.

After climbing the steps, Eisen entered the hall with Harry and Ron trailing behind him.

A few torches lit the interior, casting a warm glow in the otherwise empty hall. After stepping into the foyer, they could hear cheers coming from the auditorium next door, indicating the sorting ceremony and welcome feast were underway.

Instead of joining them, Eisen led Harry and Ron directly to the Muggle Studies classroom on the second floor.

"You two have to wait here while I find Professor McGonagall!" Eisen nodded at them as they entered the room and turned to leave.

Less than ten minutes later, Eisen returned. After the sorting ceremony concluded, he had filled Professor McGonagall in on what happened. To his surprise, not only had McGonagall come, but also Dumbledore and Snape followed.

Harry and Ron felt more comfortable with Eisen alone, but when Professor McGonagall was accompanied by Dumbledore and Snape, the oppressive atmosphere made it hard for them to breathe.

"Sit!" Professor McGonagall commanded, pursing her lips and brandishing her wand as she entered the room.

Harry and Ron, thinking she was about to cast a spell, instinctively took a few steps back. When no spells were cast, they sighed in relief and took their seats.

"Now, explain yourselves!" Professor McGonagall's glasses glinted coldly.

"Hmph—" Snape scoffed and tossed a copy of the *Evening Prophet* at Harry.

How serious was the situation? Observing the stern expressions on the professors' faces, Harry began to understand the meaning of a bad feeling. As he unfolded the newspaper, a headline immediately caught his eye:

"Two Muggles in London are convinced they saw an old car fly over the Post Office...Mr. Angus Fleet reported to the police..." Glancing through the article, Harry realized that six or seven Muggles were already aware of his and Ron's misadventure.

He handed the newspaper to Ron, who visibly paled after reading it.

"I remember your father works in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Division, but I didn't expect his own son to—" Snape sneered at Ron, clearly reveling in the situation.

At that moment, Ron was on the verge of tears.
