Capítulo 66: Unexpected Things never happen singly!

After a brief meet and greet with the Hogwarts staff, with Tina confirming my claims with other teachers and my parents, she decided to do a exposé on me.

She was certain, I was bluffing, and in reality a very good con man, who had learnt the few common languages to dupe others.

So naturally, she decided to find the most sheltered culture in the world, she knew of, because she had a friend from the Native American Tribes.

Fun fact about these people: They may come under an umbrella term, 'Native American', but that term is as wide as saying That man is an European!

There are too goddamn many Tribes in North America, let alone the southern continent, where the ancient empires come into play. And as it happens, the indigenous magical folks were extremely good at their own wandless magic which was deeply woven into the spiritual and magical practices of the world. Their medicine and healing abilities were so superior, that the Europeans would often offer trade in exchange of healing their ailments and injuries suffered during the marine expeditions.

And just like Muggle colonialism and Imperialism, the magical wand-waving wizards came to the coast, and began to impose their own practises upon the native Tribes.

The magic in the indigenous People, was very rarely used offensively, as they believed strongly in magic, being the gift of spirits, and its sanctity should be preserved.

And as such, the barbarian Europeans managed to overwhelm the natives and began the 'reformation' where the natives learnt to wield wand, in part to defend themselves, but also as deterrent against the stream of colonialists who kept arriving with each boat that landed on their shores. And with that, their own culture, tradition and knowledge, was slowly allowed to decay into the cruel annals of time.

Still, there were people, who wanted to preserve their culture, their heritage, and at least unlike the Communists, the knowledge was considered sacred enough to survive through the tribes, and not burnt in public, but instead given to the "Wise men", who archived their knowledge, preserved it and protected it. And that was why, even if American continents have largely adopted to the versatility of wand magic, there are still a few tribes, communities and cultures who hold on to their culture, ritual and their roots.

The culture and their individual traditions of these tribes and settlements are so vastly different, that each one of them could be considered a different religion altogether. Their magic and beliefs, so distinct, that I wanted to visit each tribe and learn and archive their knowledge into a central Library of Alexandria like archive, which I could carry with myself in other worlds.

I had planned to construct a spell, that converts the data and information in a book, tome, grimoire, and even scrolls and parchments, into sheer information, which I would transfer in my phone. Similarly, I wanted a spell to print out any information in my phone, into a hard copy. To do that, I would need to get really good at spell crafting and Arithmancy, but I was not in a hurry, at least for the time.

But I didn't need to think of a reason to broach that topic with either my parents or Headmaster, who was now my mentor, since Tina had requested to floo call her friend Lila, who was a part of one of these tribes.

She told me the Tribe name, the language and her friend's name, and let me talk to this Lila, who would be like my guide into the vast treasure trove of natural primal magic, and its evolution into the wandless path, instead of European wanded magic.

We talked, and it seemed, she was fascinated, when I told her I was gifted by the nature and the magic herself. She wanted to meet me, and I told her she could floo over now.

I took permission of Headmaster who looked happy at me making new acquaintances, and agreed with a smile.

When I told her, she told me to step back, and came through the green flames. Contrary to my racist idiotic beliefs, she was wearing a pair of tight fitting jeans, a cream chequered shirt, and a pair of brown leather boots. Add in her gorgeous face, expressive eyes and silky locks of lush black hair, she was ridiculously beautiful.

We met and greeted, and she talked in her native tongue, all the while, then greeted with an accented English all the adults, while answering Tina, who had a grudging look on her face.

I flew around her, excited to meet her people, and asked her how she had floo network, knew Tina, and the miscellaneous. I took her to meet the Basilisk, who didn't even glance at us, and was surely by now irritated to be meeting new people, whom it cannot eat.

I took her around the forest flying around, and after meeting the Thestral herd and greeting Hagrid, we came back to Headmaster's office, where she thanked him and Minerva for the hospitality, extended a warm invite to others, hugged Tina, before bending over kissing my cheek for the tour, and left after promising to write.

It seemed my wand doesn't want to be made anytime soon, and instead I kept having adventures with different people and animals. Alas!

"Leo, I was thinking, we should talk about your dilemma." I saw Albus call me, when everybody left his office, and Ollivander went back, after he was tired and wanted to rest for the day.

"Yes Headmaster?" I asked, as my mind was wandering all over the place, thinking about what could be used to pair with me. Surely, someone needed a wand, when their own grew weak to be used, and someone thought of a clever alternative.

There was option of looking in Asia, specifically China and Japan, where there are bound to be advanced magical focii for people there, but my thoughts came to an abruptly screeching halt, when Albus asked me, "Will you be willing to inherit my wand?"
