Before coming to the picnic, Isla knew she was not a match for the countess who had been in the society for years. The latter had a perfect reputation and fame, while she only had her father's name behind her. However, that would not stop her from taking advantage of that and using it to deal with the countess.

''Y-Yes, I-I was acquainted with h-her late excellency. Why does princess speak about this?'' 

Just as Amelia had said, the countess seemed to extremely loathe her mother. Looking at how she stuttered and her brows twitched in anger, Isla could guess that the latter was cursing herself. 

The countess's hatred for her late mother was definitely why she had abused Damien.

'Yet I can't believe the source of all this is father.' Isla sighed in heart. When she's done dealing with the countess, she would speak with her father about this. Why would he allow his ex-to-be-fiancée to teach his late wife's grandchild?
