Solomon stared at the group of men standing before him.

  Five-hundred of gaius's men had volunteered to help, despite knowing they were wolves. 

They hadn't believe him until he had shifted for them, which had caused an uproar, as was expected. 

Three men had rushed forward in an attempt to slay him, but he had knocked them harmlessly to the side and then gaius had sent them to the dungeon for trying to harm a guest.

  They still didn't believe Isla was a wolf.

The 500 men had agreed to help anyway, despite everything, which had surprised Solomon more than anything; he hadn't expected even that many.

  He and Gaius had done their best to sell it, to explain what had happened, that their brother-in-arms had been murdered and Mikel was being held as a captive.

  That was what convinced them. 

They were trained soldiers, and they took honor seriously. 

They were also completely loyal to Mikel.
