Capítulo 22: Chapter 22

Theo let out an uneasy cough. Before taking the pocket knife from Aurora.

"Sebas, you're good with these you should throw it." Theo says before tossing the knife to Sebastian who was reluctant to take it.

Sebastian held on to it for a while, he was uptight about having to throw the knife.

"I'll do it." Daniel muttered weekly. Sebastian did not hesitate in giving the blade to him.

Daniel took a deep breath trying to calm his tensed body, when he felt he could throw it, he did.

The blade perfectly hit on the targeted spot but there was no crack. It got stuck on it instead.

Aurora steps forward and brought out the other blade. This time around she didn't give it to them to throw it. Instead she levitated it with her hands and then made it hit a particular spot. There was a loud crack. It was huge.

They waited as other cracks started following up till the cracks were all over the frozen person.

"Come on, Gael." Theo murmured as they wait in silence waiting for him to be the one to finally crack out of it.

Then it happened. Gael whirled out of the caked icing he had found himself. He fell to the ground shaking helplessly. Theo rushed to his side as he holds him up close.

"He needs something to heaten him up." Theo said to the others as he felt his temperature. Sebastian made his way to the middle already ready to make a fire with the sticks he is already gathering.

"Don't do that." Aurora scolded

Sebastian halted but he soon resumed what he was doing. He wasn't one to listen anyways and he wasn't ready to take orders from a little missy.

"If you do that you'd attract unnecessary attention from those men!" but he still didn't budge. "Stop!" Aurora pushed on. She turned to glance at Daniel to do something but he was too weak to even take a glimpse at what's happening.

She looked at Theo for help and he sighed knowingigly. "Sebastian, a fire would attract people"

She muttered sharply.

"What now? We're going to start taking orders from a child? For all we know she could be in alliance with the enemy." Sebastian retorted his voice dangerously low.

"You referring to me as a child when you act like one, sounds like a dumb joke wouldn't you agree?"

Sebastian stood up moving away from where he had attempted to light the flame.

"For you information, I'm fifty five." he said before moving past me to grab Daniel on the ground. Aurora turned her head to follow his retreating form, she opened her mouth to say something but closed it momentarily. She resonsed she would be acting like a child too if she replies to his tantrums.

"We need to get moving. I'll carry Daniel and you carry Gael, if we run we can get there in an hour and then feed him blood." Sebastian suggested after he dropped Daniel closed to Gael. The heat would warm him up.

Aurora ears perked up at the sound of incoming people.

"Someone is coming." She informed.

"You heard it too?" Theo asked perplexed and Auroea simply shrugged. Sebastian listened for what they heard before he could pin point that some people were about approaching them.

"They're with weapons, we have to move" Theo disclosed.

"Wait…" Gael suddenly spoke admist shivering. "Daniel needs blood, if we could get him a good amount now… He could walk on his own."

Aurora frowned. It's was true. So they kill people after all.

"He's right. We don't know what will happen on the way. And I used a good amount of those blood bags. Are we sure there's enough to have him drink?"

Blood bags? Aurora questioned herself

So they kill and also preserved for themselves' she conceded to herself in horridness.

Theo looked towards her to see if she was cool with it, her expression was nonchalant. But he knew a thinking face when he saw one.

"We need it to keep him sane till we undo the potion."

Aurora tries to process what he had just said. She ponder back to how she saw him on the tree. He looked lifeless just like he did now. But somehow he had managed to made his way to her.

Aurora gasped upon realization. He took the blood from those dead men.

"Undo the potion?" she asked

By now they were starting to see flashlights from the other end. They were getting close.

"Was it the same objects that you held last time I struck him?"she pressed on with her questions.

"Last time?" Sebastian inquired staring at theo as he await an answer. But theo doesn't respond instead he turned to Aurora and answered the initial question she asked him. "Yes."

Aurora pursed her lips, she wasn't sure if it was a good thing to disclose the information she was about to, but she wanted to help Daniel

"All you need to do is find the portion/weapon that struck him and burn it into the place he got injured."

"So you're one of them after all"

Sebastian noted obviously displeased. His veins popping were enough to disclose that.

"He must have threw it away, how can we find it? He's pretty weak to tell us that now."Theo sighed he sounded dejected.

Aurora didn't know why but it displeased her seeing him that way, she badly wanted to go closer and caress his cheeks. She felt a burn in her stomach when she imagined the both of them hands all over each other. She felt herself getting aroused by looking at him alone.

"Well i'd be damned!"

Sebastian suddenly remark made her look away from him, and from there. She had completely forgot werewolves can sense arousal.

'How embarrassing!' she brooded.

She needed to calm down but the feeling in between her legs were too strong to sweep under the rug. She craved his touch and she wanted him.

She was so overwhelmed with her thoughts and feelings she had forgotten the people slowly approaching. She did not notice one of the men pointing his torchlight at her. It was when she got swept down by someone, and gun shots followed she realized she was almost gunned down.

She turned to see who it was. She frozed.

Aurora turning must have been a bad idea cause the close proximity which held her lips and that of Theo… Was intoxicating.
