Today by some miracle I had offered to help make dinner. Well technically Benedito offered to make dinner whilst I was his trusted assistant. Not that I was doing much assisting because apparently I knew how to do nothing.
"Barbie, how can you be this useless?" Dito groaned as he easily filleted steak that we bought on our way home from the butcher.
"Listen here mister 'I know how to cook like some expert', I'm doing my best and I'll damn leave you to struggle alone if you continue with your nonsense," I glared as I held a knife in my hand and pointed it at him.
"That's not how you dice an onion," he seemed to completely ignore my threat as he continued cutting away the unnecessary fat of the steak. He had packed his knife collection and bought it with because he was afraid my knives would not be sharp enough.
"That's not how you dice an onion," I mocked him whilst copying his thick Brazilian accent.
