"What happened to me?" she asked dazedly. Her eyes beg for an explanation. She wants to be reassured that this is not just a dream anymore.
Vincent combed her long hair dotingly and said,
"Alright. When you lose consciousness, an army of androids from another timeline suddenly attacks us all. We were in the middle of a discussion when all that happened. And we were grateful for the sorceress's escorts, Athena, Flora, and Gaia. They defeated the Dark Shaman's humanoid armies he sent into our timeline."
Vincent ensured not to spill out what truly happened when they attacked the Dream City Hospital.
The androids killed their children, and in his fear, Hailee would feel devastated and panic. He left out that part.
That's right. A significant event also happened while Hailee's soul traveled to another timeline.
