Capítulo 58: chapter 58
Ailee woke up around noon and lazily sat up on her bed.
He was not there and then she remembered him telling her he'd be back when she was sleeping in the morning.
Sighing, she waddled to the bathroom to freshen up and changed into his clothes.
She went down to make herself some breakfast when she saw a big paper bag sitting on the couch of the living room.
Doodle was nowhere to be found either.
He must be out with one of the guards.
Xavier told her that he got rid of the helpers around the house for security purposes and Doodle will be taken care of by someone from his team.
She went near the bag and picked up the note on it.
Do justice to this dress, my love.

She squealed and jumped at her position and quickly rummaged through the bag.
Taking it out, she saw a beautiful black dress that reached to the ground with full sleeves and a square neckline. The material was so soft that it kept slipping out of her hands.
But the dress was not the only thing, there were two more bags beside it. One of them had a delicate double platinum chain necklace with matching earrings while the other one had a pair of black lace up sandals because she doesn't like to wear heels.
The whole outfit was so pretty yet so comfortable.
She loves how considerate he is all the time.
But somewhere she feels guilty for being so happy. She knows that he is hiding his pain and it's probably a ridiculous idea to go on a date at a time like this but she couldn't help it when he insisted so much.
She texted him to ask about the time as he forgot to tell her that and received his reply a few minutes later.
He said he'll pick her up at six, meaning she still has five hours to get ready.
She was eating her chia seeds pudding while scrolling through her phone when she realized she doesn't have her makeup and hair products here.
She quickly texted him again that she will be going to her house to get ready and that he can pick her up from there.
Ailee didn't bother wearing her own clothes and hurriedly grabbed the bags before settling down in the car.
She made small conversations with his driver and the guard sitting in the passenger seat and they were extremely polite all the time.
True to his words, one more car was following them with Xavier's guards sitting inside with a serious expression and their eyes were in all directions.
She felt chills running down her spine from all the seriousness in the air.
When she finally reached her house, the guard who accompanied her in the car took her bags inside even after many protests from her and this certainly earned the attention of her mother who was enjoying her coffee in the living room while reading a book.
She put everything down and came to the door to check what the commotion was about.
"Lily, what is happening here?" She asked, confused.
" Nothing, mama," she smiled and followed her inside.
The guard put the bags on her couch on her instructions and walked out of her house.
But the ones who came in a different car remained outside at different locations as per the order from their boss.
"You want to tell me about this?" Juliana asked Ailee.
"Just going on a date with Xavier tonight" she smiled sheepishly.
"Oh My God! I am finally getting to see my daughter going out with a boy. I'm so excited. I'll help you get ready. When are you going by the way?" She said in one breath, unable to control her excitement.
Ailee laughed and hugged her.
"At six he will pick me up and yes, you can help me get ready"
Good thing that her mother doesn't know what happened yesterday.
Her sisters were also staying at their friend's house for a few days because if she gets to know about it and sees an injured Mila, she will flip and probably would never allow them to leave the house again.
Ailee excused herself and came back to her room and plopped down on the bed.
She tried searching the incident from yesterday on her phone but nothing showed up.
How can it be possible?
There were hundreds of people there.
Then her mind went towards his mother and she became upset again.
He loves her too much to hurt her but doesn't she love him too?
How can she do that to her own son?
How will he fight this?
She shrugged when it started to cause a headache and picked out a romance book that had been pending for a long time.
She seriously needs to send some of these at his place because she spends a lot of her time there and he often leaves her alone for work too.
By the time it was five, her father and Alex were home and they were surprised to know about her plans for the evening.
Juliana was over the moon while doing her hair. She told stories about the time when Calvin would take her out on dates and she would have to sneak out as her parents were very strict.
Ailee never met any of her grandparents because by the time she was born all of them had passed away but she did hear a lot of fun stories about them.
And just like that an hour passed and exactly at six she got his text.
'I'm here' it read.
She smiled at her mum through the mirror and nodded, indicating that he was here.
Juliana clapped her hands and nodded as well while hugging her from behind.
"You look absolutely stunning, my baby," she said near her ear.
"Thank you mama" she stood up and clicked some mirror selfies of her whole look.
The dress fitted her perfectly, it was hard to believe he chose it and not got it custom made after taking her measurements.
The mother and daughter duo walked down hand in hand, gaining the attention of her father as well.
Xavier was already there, talking to him.
When she saw him, she almost tripped over her own feet.
How could he always manage to take her breath away?
Adorned in a black suit himself with no tie and upper two buttons undone,
He looked enchanting.
Absolutely gorgeous.
And only hers.
She was captivated by his stormy eyes that were taking her in from top to bottom.
Juliana cleared her throat, and both of them got back to their senses causing Ailee to blush deeply.
"Okay, young man, I'm entrusting you with not just my daughter but my little world. Please take care of her and bring her back home safely to me" Calvin said, patting him on the shoulder.
"She will know nothing but happiness with me, Mr Laurent, rest assured" Xavier nodded and looked at Ailee again.
" Yes yes, you both look so cute together, right Calvin?" Juliana quickly snapped a picture of them together and immediately uploaded it in their family group to show it to her other children who were missing at the moment.
Calvin nodded and they both walked the couple to the car waiting for them outside.
There were three cars this time and they sat down in the middle one.
When the cars started moving and they were on the main road, he took her hand in his and looked her in the eyes.
"You look beautiful," he said with the most caring look in his eyes.
He was letting her see his true emotions. He was no longer putting on a facade.
"You look absolutely…." She said and he raised an eyebrow waiting for her to complete the compliment.
"Like mine" He didn't even blink when she very quickly pecked his lips and turned away towards the window.
Her face was red to the neck from shyness.
It was so impulsive to kiss him just now but he looked just that….… delectable.
When she didn't get a response from him, she was about to turn around when a hand wrapped around her waist and transferred her to the lap of the man in question.
She looked at him with wide eyes and then the driver and taking the hint, he shut the partition to give them some privacy.
"You have no idea of the torture you do to me, Coco" he whispered while caressing her jaw and his other hand rested firmly on her butt.
She looked at him confused with a tilt of her head. A cute pout forming on her very kissable red lips.
"What did I do?" She asked in the most innocent way possible and he closed his eyes.
She had a little idea of what he might be talking about but how can that be….. a torture?
"Fuck…." He kissed her neck and then looked in her big doe eyes.
" This is what you do. You make me have thoughts…. wild thoughts about you but let your innocence shield you away from my wrath, my love."
Ailee blushed and hid her face in his neck while he secured her waist in his arms and pulled her close enough for every inch of their upper body to stick to each other.
'He was indeed talking about that' she thought and pressed her face deeper in his neck.
"Are we going somewhere far?" She asked some time later.
"A little bit" He nodded.
He kept moving his hands over her back and breathed in her scent till he was informed of their arrival.
