Capítulo 21: CHAPTER 21: Poseidon's Book

I had to wake up early the other morning. It was the first day of the commencement of my training. But what was I being trained for? And if Valek and Uncle Bael had promised to take care of Death, then why were they training me? Was there something else they hid from me?

"Wake up my sweet pancake," mom came to wake me up. She brushed her fingers slowly in my hair.

"I want to sleep some more," I said while turning my side towards her.

She sat beside me on my bed. I moved my head a little more towards her as she kept brushing my hair. I felt such warmth in her touch. I couldn't stop myself from smiling in my sleep.

"You have to go to college," mom said while standing up.

"Maybe I can skip this day," I said, remaining in my sleep.

"No you can't, Valek told me you had an important test today. You can't miss it, dear," mom told me.

I opened my eyes upon hearing Valek's name.

"Is he here?" I asked her.

"Yes, he is waiting downstairs for you."
