Capítulo 42: Alex got angry
The moment Alex finished speaking, he surveyed his surroundings. Noticing no trace of the sniper anywhere, he returned to where Shin Haner was: "Everything is fine. You can go back now."
"What about you? Should I call the police to report this?"
"No need. Please keep this to yourself." Shin Haner nodded and decided to leave after leaving her phone number with Alex.
"I'll call you after speaking with Joe Shiner."
"I would be grateful for that, and I apologize for the misconduct from my family."
"That's alright."
Shin Haner hailed a taxi and returned to the hospital, while Alex headed towards the bathroom.
"Alright, let's find out who sent you."
Alex placed the man who had attacked him in a chair and removed the needle from the middle of his forehead. He then splashed water on his head to wake him up.
"Ugh, where am I?"
"You are in Smile Café." The man raised his head and met Alex's smile. He remembered what happened and tried to attack him again, but found himself bound. He attempted to free himself but to no avail.
"Don't bother trying. You'll never be able to escape."
"Alright, what do you want?"
"We both know what I want. Who sent you?"
"I don't know."
"Are you sure?" The man looked directly into Alex's eyes and said, "Your mother sent me."
Alex felt a surge of anger upon hearing this and took out a needle along with some torture tools. "You know, there's a place in the human body that, if activated, will increase the pain several times."
Alex placed one of his needles behind the man's head, then took a clamp and placed it directly on the molar, the most painful spot, and removed it.
"Ahhh, stop, ahhh!" Alex ignored his screams and continued until he had extracted the molar.
"There is still much more for you." Alex continued with the torture, and the man's screams persisted until he lost hope and began to beg: "I'll tell you everything, I'll tell you, stop, please."
"I don't need that. Who do you think you are to insult my mother?" Alex lifted the man despite his size and punched him directly in the stomach. "Ugh." Alex grabbed a metal rod and pushed it into his left hand, pinning it to the wall.
"Ahhh."
Alex repeated the process on all his limbs. "Please stop, I'm sorry, please, just... ahhh, my eye!" Alex gouged out one of his eyes, then moved to his fingers and started cutting them off one by one. The screams continued.
"I'll tell you everything I know, just kill me, please." Alex looked directly at the man and said indifferently, "I don't need that. Your chance ended the moment you insulted my mother."
"I'm sorry, who... ahhh." Alex cut out his tongue immediately.
"Be quiet for a bit." Alex continued with the torture until he heard the sound of a phone ringing.
Alex turned to the phone, which belonged to one of his attackers, and answered it: "Where are you? You've been delayed for too long."
"Well, they are on a trip, and I'll send you to them soon."
The caller was stunned upon hearing this.
"Who are you?"
"Who knows? Maybe I've just guided you towards death."
"What did you do to my companions?"
"I haven't done anything. I just gave them some directions for their trip, and I'll guide you to your destination soon as well."
Alex hung up the call and looked at the bodies in his bathroom. He then put them all in bags, carried them to his car, and headed towards the sea to dispose of them. On his way back, Alex drove at top speed, his eyes filled with anger and sadness.
"Shaiyo Fan, I will kill you even if it's the last thing I do." Alex accelerated, overtaking all the cars in front of him, not even noticing the red lights. At one turn, a car appeared in front of him, causing him to slam on the brakes and change direction, barely avoiding a collision. However, a tree was right in his path, and he only narrowly avoided hitting it. Had it not been for his good driving skills, he would have been in an accident.
After narrowly avoiding the collision with the tree, Alex stopped his car on the roadside, his body trembling and his heart racing. He sat in his seat, trying to control his rapid breathing, but his emotions were burning inside him like a raging fire.
Alex began to pound the steering wheel with all his strength, his shouts filling the car: "Damn it! Damn it! Why is this happening to me?!" Tears flowed freely down his face, but he no longer cared. Anger and pain mixed inside him like an unstoppable storm.
"Didn't I stop caring? Why did I feel anger when they insulted her? Why do I still suffer for her?!" The words came out as if tearing his chest apart. "Damn you! If you had loved me, none of this would have happened. All this pain, all this loss... for what?"
Alex leaned over the steering wheel, his tears falling onto his trembling hands, as he whispered with a broken voice: "Mom... are you happy now? Are you at peace while I suffer alone here?" He laughed bitterly, a mad laugh filled with irony and despair: "What a fool I am... What a fool."
Alex remained in this state for several minutes, his body collapsed and his spirit weighed down by painful memories. Everything seemed meaningless, as if the world was collapsing around him. Then suddenly, he stopped. He slowly lifted his head, wiped his tears with his hand, and a sense of cold determination returned to his eyes.
"No more tears, no more pain." He said quietly, as if deciding his fate. He started the car engine and drove back home, determined to end everything.
Upon arriving, he went straight to his computer and began searching for Shaiyo Fan's location, finding his picture through the surveillance cameras near his home.
"I found you."

In Hope Hospital, Room 5, Second Class.
"My poor grandson, tell me, do you know who the person who attacked you is?"
"I don't know, Grandma. I think he's just a madman. Are you kidding me? If I told you who he was, I might end up in jail for trying to kill that bitch."
"That's alright. The police will catch him."
"Yes, Grandma. And how is Dad?"
"He's fine, he just fainted."
"And what about Shin Haner? I don't see her here."

The door opened, and Shin Haner entered: "I was busy with some matters."
"Is there anything more important than your cousin's health?"
"Grandma..."
"Be quiet! Because of you, our family might go bankrupt."
"Grandma, why are you always blaming me? Didn't Shin Min also fail in his contract with Miss Jo? At least I still have a chance to meet her."
"Hmph, didn't she say she doesn't want to meet you?"
"I convinced one of her acquaintances, and I'll set up a meeting with her. By the way, just remembering what happened to me today makes me feel scared. Thank God I survived."
"Are you sure your friend can help you? Because if you can't, get ready to marry again." Oh my God, I'm going crazy with this family. A grandmother who hates me, a troublemaking fool, and a lazy husband. Can things get any worse? "Where is Yu Zan?"
"Hmph, he went to get food for Shin Min."
"Alright, I'm going home." Shin Haner left the place, and on her way out, she ran into Yu Zan, who was drooling as he watched one of the nurses.
"This is what I was missing, really, men only think about their lower parts."
Shin Haner stood next to Yu Zan, who was lost in thought, and said, "She's beautiful, isn't she?"
"Very beautiful."
"Really?" Yu Zan felt a shiver down his spine and turned around to find it was his wife.
"Darling, I didn't..."
"Don't say anything more. I don't care what you do, just try to wipe your drool because you look like a fool. I'll go home before you, goodbye."
"Darling, let's go back together."
"I told you not to call me that, and I'll go back on my own."

In a nightclub, Shaiyo Fan sat holding a glass of wine, observing the place and waiting for a beautiful woman who needed help. However, he remained in this state for over an hour with no success.
"What's going on? It seems I'm not lucky today. Usually, there are some girls who are harassed by some idiots, giving me a chance to approach them."
Shaiyo Fan drank the wine in his glass, and after a few minutes, a man with a medium build and a terrified expression entered, looking around as if searching for someone. Shaiyo Fan spotted the man and called out:
"Raymond!"
Raymond turned toward the voice and saw his leader, King Shoryu, and hurried over.
"Raymond, did you complete the mission?"
"No, King Shoryu, the mission failed." Shaiyo Fan broke the glass he was holding upon hearing the news.
"Where is the rest of the team?"
"They were all killed."
"And how did you survive?"
"I was in charge of sniping, and after my failure, I withdrew, thinking the team could complete the mission."
"And how did you know about their deaths?" Raymond did not answer the question. Instead, a man dressed in black clothing and a black hood appeared behind them and said, "I'm the one who informed him."
