"I don't know, brother. But he was certain that his sister was in the palace and even threatened me."

"What did he say her name is?"

Esmeralda looked at his brother for a while before she shook her head, "Unfortunately no. I don't think he stated his sister's name."

"Go and ask him that," Lucifel said, already wavering his sister off. Though he was thankful that his sister had come to interrupt him else, he would have killed the vampiress. However, he didn't know how to change the look in his little sister's gaze towards him.

She must have been frightened.

"Brother..." She pouted before saying, "What are you hiding from me?" As she asked the question, she walked further into his chamber but he was so quick to block her from seeing whoever was at the end of the bed, lying on the floor.
