He must have been so hurt considering his mate was dead, however, Lucifel figured out that this man might just have been eavesdropping on whatever discussion he just had with Hazel.

Bleeding hell, this man should not have heard any conversation at all.

He should not have heard that the mate he thought was dead was actually alive and in a different body, however, Lucifel felt a bit confused when Ethan replied his question, "His Majesty sent me here to call for you. He is wondering why you and your bride are absent in the ballroom. The mating session is about to begin, it's the full moon already."
