Capítulo 64: The Need to Choose

Celeste woke up the next day with her head resting against Tiel's chest. Her nose was pleasantly greeted by the scent of his body. And as seconds past, dread started to settle in her heart.

What have I done?

Celeste swallowed, the only thing crossing her mind was regardless of whether Avond have a foot to stand on or not, his heart would be crushed.

His words, desperately explaining how he could not imagine someone else doing to her what he did, sent guilt through her chest.

Like a knife, it twisted her heart, and in response, she leaned closer to Tiel, who felt her movement. He planted a kiss on her forehead.

Hadn't Avond said he would speak to Erickson to have her hand instead?

What would happen if he agreed? And she had laid with Tiel?

Celeste bit her lower lip, then sighed.

"That was a mistake," she said suddenly. She regretted it very much.
