After listening to what had happened to Jade and her strong warnings, Celeste knew Jade was not the person for her to confide her regrets in.
It seemed she had no one to confide in at all, and it made Celeste feel depressed. She had not only betrayed Avond and Tiel, but Jade as well.
"Celeste, are you alright?" Jade asked, her voice gentle.
"I'm sorry for sharing something like that with you so suddenly. Are you feeling unwell now?"
Celeste took a deep breath.
"Honestly, I don't know how to feel. I just feel as if I've betrayed you since I've become close to Tiel," she admitted, omitting some of the truth.
Had she shared everything, Celeste was sure Jade would look at her with disgust.
"Don't think like that, silly. I'm just letting you know everything he has done. What he's capable of. It's important to know what a person is like so you know what to watch out for. Don't you agree?" Jade asked.
