"So you're saying that not only did they face the werewolf Fenrir Greyback, but they also faced several dark wizards who hunted treasure?" Parvati asked to confirm the story William had told them a moment before, of course some details were omitted, information about the event had to be allowed to circulate throughout the castle, but other specific topics also had to be hidden.
"Yes, the truth is the wizards of Castelobruxo were quite skilled at fighting, some were strange duelists with spells and enchantments I had never seen before."
"You weren't afraid?" asked Neville from the side, William nodded his head slightly.
"Many times, there were times when I thought my life might come to an end or the lives of the people who were with me that night. We were lucky that we all made it back to Castelobruxo alive."
"Shall we begin?" asked Hannah raising her earmuffs to place them in her ears as a protective measure, the rest followed suit, they were all waiting for Professor Sprout to give the signal to begin transplanting the mandrake.
Professor Sprout looked at all the group stations, glanced at the students to make sure they all had the earmuffs in their ears, and then gave the signal by raising her thumb.
The young men in each of the groups put their hands on the stem of the mandrake to pull it out of the pot in a single tug, then it was time for the greenhouse to be invaded by the screams of the little baby-faced plants.
William was the only one who was transplanting the mandrake calmly, just as he had instructed Neville earlier, he pulled a specific leaf before removing the mandrake from its pot, then when the time came the mandrake was sleeping.
Hannah and Parvati noticed what was going on, Professor Sprout was no exception either, she walked the length of the greenhouse to get to William's group table, to see a mandrake being so quiet in the transplanting process was a rare occurrence.
So, when the classroom returned to silence after each of the mandrakes was transplanted into a new pot, she was the first to take off her earmuffs to stare at William as if there were some kinds of problem, but the latter just kept his confident smile in front of the teacher.
"How did you do that?" she asked.
"Ah... Mandrakes have a special point in their anatomy that induces them into a temporary sleep state, regularly these plants tend to cause a ruckus because being underground they adopt characteristics of underground creatures, therefore their sector of weakness is in the crown of their body, in this specific leaf" William pointed at the leaf carefully, then demonstrated it again on the mandrakes of the rest of the members of his club.
"This is wonderful, Gryffindor fifty points for the excellent discovery about mandrakes, I will have to check in some papers about the existence of this point" Professor Sprout looked excited to find such information.
"You are wonderful, William" Neville congratulated William, giving a couple of pats on his back.
Hannah and Parvati were also smiling at Professor Sprout's praise.
William could feel the stares of his classmates focused on his person, one of them was from Hermione, it was quite natural considering her nature.
At the end of the class all the students left the classroom rushing, then as William arranged his belongings he heard the voice coming from the right side.
"Mr. Rosier, stay a moment," said Professor Sprout approaching where William was slowly standing.
"Professor?"
"You learned some rather peculiar techniques during your time at Castelobruxo, this may be due to the cultural richness that exists at that school. They are said to be the best in herbology and creature care" William listened intently to Professor Sprout who was fixing some details she found in the process of transplanting the mandrakes.
"Castelobruxo was exceptional in the areas you mentioned earlier, professor..." William paused for a moment, "No, I'm wrong. Castelobruxo school was impeccable in all types of teaching, many of the things that are usually normal here are strange there and vice versa."
"That's a pretty deep understanding Mr. Rosier" Professor Sprout was amazed "Still I would like to get some of that knowledge you got at Castelobruxo"
"My knowledge?" William put his hand on his chin, he started to think about the benefits of this possible deal, it was true that he got a lot of information that at Hogwarts he could never find and sharing such knowledge would be very helpful for her, but it was also not a good idea to just hand it over.
"I want free access to the castle greenhouses and their materials" William declared unscrupulously.
"Access to the greenhouses?" she asked, somewhat surprised.
"Well you must know my ability in the area of potions, although I can buy several materials, sometimes the fact of obtaining them first hand would be useful to increase the quality of the potions" He needed the greenhouses to continue with his plans, in truth this could become in the future his number one hiding place, but he had to convince Professor Sprout "In exchange I commit myself to deliver an essay containing everything I learned in Castelobruxo during my stay in that academy.
