Capítulo 15: 15: Blaming and death threat's
"Yes!" Jimin exclaimed as he spotted an island on his left, "Finally!" Jungkook added excitedly.
They've been on that boat for easily seven hours. Taehyung fell asleep in Hoseok's arms while he basically forced him to hold and rub his stomach, he felt so much safer having the father of his unborn child touching him there on his stomach.
"Wait..." Hoseok said hesitantly when he realized there were no tall buildings or any sign of civilization at all, it looked deserted. Uninhabited.
But it was a better option then staying in the small boat, they were dehydrated, hungry, sunburned. They didn't really have a different option even if it's not the island they were hoping for.
"Come on, let's just get there. I'm fucking tired of this boat." Jimin said grabbing one of the paddles, Jungkook took the other and Hoseok woke Taehyung.
Once Taehyung came to he shouted, "No please!" and jumped up terrified coming straight out of a nightmare.
"Hey hey, it's okey." Hoseok grabbed Taehyung from behind and hugged him tightly trying to comfort him, it worked but not before Taehyung could start crying again.
He quickly wiped his tears and got Hoseok to release him, "Whats wrong?" Taehyung asked not realizing their salvation was right behind him.
"Look behind you." Jungkook said sitting next to Jimin facing Taehyung and Hoseok.
"No... No! Does it look like that's back in Hawaii?!" Taehyung nearly shouted noticing the lack of civilization immediately.
"It's the closest thing we can get right now, we just need to get off of this boat before we cook in the sun." Hoseok said taking Taehyung's stomach I'm his hand instead of holding his hand, he noticed how Taehyung liked that more earlier so he thought he'd do it again.
"You're right.... we need to get off this boat..." Taehyung said looking down referring to him and the baby, not him and the others.
"Oh, you said you were hungry before you fell asleep. It'll take a while before we can get back to shore so eat this in the mean time." Jimin said handing Taehyung a bag of honey butter chips.
Just as Taehyung took the bag and said thank you Hoseok stood up carefully saying, "Let me."
Jimin of course denied the request and said, "I got it, don't worry."
"Get up." Hoseok demanded and this time Jimin obeyed, he got up even more carefully with shaky legs scared that he'd fall in. And moving past Hoseok in the small space he almost did, however hoseok caught him by his shirt collar and pulled him back up with ease.
"Thank you." Jimin said extremely grateful, he never really had a fear of the ocean before but right now he was terrified.
Jimin sat down next to Taehyung where Hoseok was and rubbed his back gently, Taehyung offered him some chips but Jimin just shook his head.
"I'm already about to throw up, I don't need help." Jimin said amd Taehyung understood that completely, he was throwing up throughout half the time they were on this boat.
He moved on to Jungkook and Hoseok but they also shook their heads.
Jungkook- "Same as Jimin."
Hoseok- "Maybe later Taebae."
Taehyung only ate a few chips before he closed the bag feeling like he's going to puke his guts out.
"We're almost there baby." Hoseok reassured Taehyung seeing the worried expression on his face, he just thought Taehyung was worried about his own safety though. Which is perfectly understandable but it wasn't true, he couldn't care less if he was okey. All Taehyung cared about was if the baby was alright or not.
Hoseok- "You guys can swim to shore from here, we'll get the boat there."
Jimin- "No, let me help you!"
Jungkook- "Just help Taehyung Jiminssi. We got this."
Taehyung- "Why can't we help too?! You guys are being rude, we're are both perfectly capable of helping."
Hoseok- "We don't doubt that you are, but you're hurt, Taebae."
Jimin- "What about me? I'm perfectly fine!"
Jungkook- "Just do what you're told Jimin."
Jimin- "Yea, do what you're told..."
"No, I didn't mean it like that!" Jungkook tried to take it back, he just didn't want Jimin to exhaust himself. And he was already use to talking to Jimin like that, and honestly he thought wrong. He thought the fact that Jimin was his slave was what upset Jimin, but it was really just the feeling of being helpless and needing to rely on someone else.
Hes always been able to depend on himself but now suddenly he had that big strong man that all disney princesses had to safe them permanently. He just felt a bit useless.
"Fine." Jimin said ignoring Jungkook and got up to jump into the shallow waters, once he was in he held his hands out to help Taehyung down too.
"Thank you." Taehyung thanked Jimin once he was in the water holding his stomach protectively, "Your welcome."
They could literally just walk to shore, it was about thirty meters away and very clearly low tide, so they could just walk to land while Jungkook and Hoseok struggled to pull the boat through the sand.
"They were stubborn and now have to struggle." Taehyung scoffed crossing his arms sitting comfortably on the warm sand of the beach.
"Are you okey?...." Jimin asked after lots of hesitation, he saw how Jungkook and Hoseok was all over his tummy. And the big bruise, it didn't take a genius to figure it out.
"I dont know... especially now that we're here instead of the main land," Taehyung rested his hand on top of his belly staring at it longingly, "I really need to get to a hospital...."
"We might have just floated to the other side of the island, there might still be hope. And if we really are stuck on a deserted island then we just need to wait a few weeks and you take another test, that'll tell you."
"What if it didn't die? How do i give birth here? Especially when fact is, men are basically incapable of giving birth without a C-section.... Face it Jimin, it'd be better if it was dead. Even if we get off the island."
"How can you say that?!!"
"What? It was an accident, that way I won't need to live with the thought that I killed it. And that way I won't need to keep the secret from Hoseok."
"You'd still have a major secret to keep!"
"I know Jiminie.... I just don't know what to do. And no, I don't want the baby to have died. But what else am I supposed to hope for?"
"That you didnt lose it, and that we can get out of here safely. I don't know you very well but I know for sure I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I had a dead baby in my belly."
"I can't either!" Taehyung snapped at Jimin making him flinch away a bit. After a while of silence Jimin finally asked, "Do you mind if I touch it?"
Taehyung chuckled softly then laid down on his back saying, "Go ahead." He was honestly expecting it.
Jimin very clearly had a lot of motherly instincts inside of him, all omegas do, but Jimin had a lot more then the average omega. Taehyung just assumed that he grew up with siblings or young children surrounding him. Though he's an only child and was isolated and homeschooled until he was in highschool, he's always been that way. He just took on his mother's personality.
Jimin very gently put his hand over Taehyung's tummy, he was somewhat expecting to feel a kick from the baby. But he didn't feel anything.
"What are you doing?" Taehyung asked with a forced chuckle when he felt Jimin's head press against his tummy, "I just wanted hear it...."
"Stupid, even if it's still alive it's way too soon to hear a heart beat."
"I know that in my head but.... I just wanted to try." Jimin looked up to Taehyung to see tears in his eyes, it wasn't an uncommon thing to see these days.
But it hit so much more now that there was a chance all that crying was for nothing.
"You guys okey?" Hoseok asked causing Jimin to jump up from Taehyung's stomach not wanting him to think anything about it.
"No! We're not okey!" Taehyung exclaimed getting up grabbing his bag from Hoseok who was trying to hand it to him nicely, "I agree, we really need to find some civilization." Jimin agreed taking his bag from Jungkook more nicely then Taehyung did.
"No, i think we should rest here until later. The sun just came out and no one got a good night of sleep, so how about we just rest for a few hours and go look for someone later?" Jungkook offered and made a lot of sense, they were all extremely tired and needed sleep.
Hoseok- "Yea, that's the best idea right now."
Taehyung- "No! We need to find the city!"
Jimin- "We don't even know where we are, and we could all use a nap."
"Fine, I'll go on my own!" Taehyung exclaimed pushing through Jungkook a d Hoseok to go explore the area.
"Why are you in such a hurry anyway?" Hoseok asked annoyed not expecting Taehyung to leave on his own.
Taehyung froze in place for a few seconds then opened his bag and grabbed one of the positive pregnancy tests, he turned around fast and threw it at Hoseok's chest.
"Thats why! I need to go to a hospital as soon as possible to find out if that fall down the boat didn't accidentally kill our baby!" Taehyung snapped completely, he didn't want to tell Hoseok about the child especially now that he couldn't avoid him afterwards. But he snapped at that moment and did pretty impulsive things.
"M-my.... mine?.... but I didnt.... you can't.... what's going on?...." Hoseok could barely believe it, he could barely say more then two words at a time. He was completely shook.
"Its a birth defect, and now I'm pregnant because of your stupidity! So if this baby dies have fun blaming yourself because it wouldn't even exist without you!" Taehyung regretted those words immediately but stood his ground nonetheless, he didnt want to take it back now.
"A-are you sure about this?! You're an alpha! Cant it be a mistake with the tests?"
"Are you that desperate for it to not be true?! Yes I'm sure! I took an ultrasound and everything."
"That day you went to the doctors with Jungkookie...."
"Yes, it's real. And if this baby is dead I'm never talking to you again!" "Stop blaming him Taehyung!" He yelled in his head listening to his harsh and uncalled for words.
"You knew?...." Hoseok looked at Jungkook with confusion and some betrayal in his eyes.
"Yes...." Jungkook almost whispered scared to death that Hoseok would hate after this for lying straight to his face, "You too?" Hoseok looked over to Jimin who just backed away shamefully.
"Why wouldn't you tell me?...." Hoseok's eyes started filling with tears of so many emotions hidden behind them.
He already regretted having sex with Taehyung that night but now it was even worse. He didnt want to make taehyung go through having a child never mind losing one. But at the same time he was so happy, he might be a father in a few months, along with the love of his life. But then the sadness of Taehyung not trusting him enough to tell him about his own child, and the rest of his friends hiding it too. Jimin he could understand but Jungkook was one of the bestest friends he's ever had. And they lied to him.
"You got onto that boat knowing you were leaving your life behind with my baby in your belly?...." Hoseok asked shocking Taehyung along the other two, "You got onto that boat knowing it might put my child in danger?!"
Taehyung and Jimin both flinched away hearing the anger in Hoseok's voice.
"Look, I'm sorry about what I did to you. I already explained why I did it, and yes. It was a stupid mistake. And no, I didn't think about the consequences. But I will not apologize for getting you pregnant, and if the baby died. Thats on you," Hoseok said bluntly and harshly causing Taehyung to let out a small scared sob along with lots of tears.
"I didnt tell you to get onto that boat, I didn't tell you to jump off. In fact it was your idea, and you did it of your own free will without even thinking that it might be dangerous for the baby. And come to think of it, YOU BEGGED ME TO FUCK YOU," Taehyung fell backwards with a small yelp when Hoseok shouted at him, "So don't you fucking dare blame me for this, yes, it's my fault that you're pregnant. But everything after that is you completely. And you know, if I knew you were pregnant I would've called it off. I would've thought of something that would keep you and the baby safe, fuck, I'd do that for Jimin! And I don't even know him! You didn't even think that I'd want to protect you. Let me ask you this, straight forward. Did you even consider I'd want to know? Did you consider the possibility that I'd be happy? You know how much I love you and you ignored that! Did you not want to deal with the fact that I'd want I say in MY child's life?!! Well here, let me give you another reason to be afraid the baby's dead," Hoseok bend down next to Taehyung and started calmly saying, "If my baby is dead after YOUR mistake. I. Will. Make. Fucking sure you end up the same way."
He threatened and caused Jungkook to say "Hyung, dont say tha-" but Hoseok shut him up by putting up his hand to signal 'stop'. Then he continued talking to Taehyung.
"We'll find a doctor for you, if it turns out the baby is dead. You'll have twenty four hours to run. I really don't care to where, but if I see you again I'll make sure that my face is the last one you ever see. Do you understand?"
The anger yet calmness in Hoseok's tone was completely terrifying, he knew deep down he would never lay a single finger on Taehyung's pretty head but in the heat of the moment. He said a lot regrettable things.
"No, I don't understand, because I know that you'll never hurt me!"
"I've hurt you before, what makes you think i won't do it again?" Hoseok was screaming at himself in his head to stop talking, but he was far too angry right now.
"I don't believe you...."
"You hurt me so much," Hoseok almost whispered leaning close to Taehyung, he kissed his cheek sweetly then leaned down further to reach his ear, "What stops me from hurting you back? The baby? Yes, that stops me. But if it dies, what then? What stops me?"
"Im not afraid of you..."
"You should be." Hoseok whispered but Taehyung still didnt believe him, truth is he is afraid of hoseok. Fucking afraid, but he knew even if the child is gone Hoseok would never hurt him.
"Enough!" Jimin yelled pulling at the back of Hoseok's shirt, once he was able to Jimin slapped Hoseok hard yelling, "YOURE A HORRIBLE PERSON YOU KNOW THAT?!!"
Hoseok stood up towering over Jimins small body, he wasn't going to do or say anything. He knew what he did, he knew it was wrong.
But even though he wasn't going to touch Jimin, Jungkook still pulled Jimin to behind his back and tried to intimidate Hoseok not wanting to actually fight with him.
Of course it didn't work, Jungkook was an alpha teddy bear. But he backed up anyway knowing how protective Jungkook could get.
"I'm gonna go find supplies to make a fire," Hoseok said, he just wanted to get away from everyone. Before he could disappear into the forest Jungkook excused himself to talk to him and caught up pretty fast.
"What happened back there? Thats not like you at all." Jungkook said while Hoseok picked up another stick.
He was being completely ignored.
Just as Hoseok was about to pick up another stick Jungkook kicked it away, other then an annoyed roll of his eyes Hoseok continued ignoring him. He bend down again to pick up a stick but Jungkook kicked it away, he had to do that five times before Hoseok would yell at him.
"I'M FUCKING SORRY OKEY?!!! I DIDNT MEAN IT AND I'D DIE BEFORE I TOUCHED TAEHYUNG!!!!"
"I know you would.... so why do you flip out like that?..." Jungkook back hugged Hoseok and soon he had to go into a squat after Hoseok's legs stopped working and he fell onto his knees sobbing.
"I dont know I really don't! I just got so angry and I.... I lost my head.... what did I do Jungkookie?! Why do I keep ruining everything?!!" Hoseok cried turning around inside Jungkook's arms, he rapped his arms around Jungkook's waist and cried into his chest.
"You really fucked up Hoseok.... and I don't know how you can fix it." He could lie, he really could. But that's just not fair to Hoseok, the truth hurts but sometimes its a better option then lying.
"Jungkookie... what if this was it? What if this was his breaking point? What if I lose him forever?...."
"Hes stronger then that, and he knows you. Just explain, and he'll understand."
"I can't even explain, I just said it in the heat of the moment! I dont know how to take it back. Jungkook, I'm so fucking scared. What if he still has the baby? He'll never let me close to it after this!"
"He will, he will."
"No.... I fucking screwed up. And I can't fix it, nothing I say could ever justify what I just did!"
"Its okey-"
"No it's not! Nothing is okey anymore! Why did we do this?! We might be stuck on this damn island!"
"I wish I could tell you that it'll all work out perfectly but-"
"Please stop! Just stop! I don't want to hear it...." Hoseok sobbed so much, he could barely breathe. His body was shaking so much, he absolutely hated himself after what he said to Taehyung.
