Capítulo 8: Chapter 8: Size is only relative
Reality.
A simple word for a simple concept.
Right?
Well...
No.
Reality is quite likely the most complex subject that could exist in all possible... realities.
Before one could dwell on the concept of parallel reality and space time what nots, one must first establish what is real and what is not.
Sounds simple, right?
Imagine you have two apples, one is material and one is fictional. Now, if one was to be asked such one is real, how would you answer?
At least 99% of the people asked will say it is the material one. Why? Simply because one could be able to touch it, taste it and even see it.
For the fictional one, you can't touch it, you can't taste it and you most definitely can't see it.
If the answer is so, then that means what determines if something is real or not is whether you can capture it in any one of your senses.
Then think of an apple, you can touch it, taste it and see it. It is real Right?
But what if only you can sense it?
No one else but you can touch, taste or see it. Is it still real or is it a fictional object?
No. You would simply believe that you are mad.
Then what if everyone can see, taste and touch this apple, but you cannot? Is it real or not?
Now who is mad, you or the world?
In the end, this only points us to one conclusion, reality is determined by what we perceive.
So what if all of humanity's perception was to be altered to see, touch and taste an apple that did not exist previously. No one would know it was altered, but instead believe it was always and will always be there. Would it be considered to be real or not?
If not, then what makes what one currently perceives to be real real? What proves that what one sees now is not an object altered to reality by someone or something?
Are you real?
Really if one takes time to think it through, you might come to the conclusion that: reality is whatever we believe in.
So what if someone was able to change what you believe in? What every living beings believes in.
Would said person not be able to control reality?
Said person was Zenn.
At that moment, he has gained power to control reality.
Well... Only a portion of it.
What he has is like a key.
Or rather the method to forge a key.
This key is part of a set of keys that control reality. If all the keys were collected together, he could simply determine what is real and what is not. It is a terrifying overpowered ability. But he had only one key. But this one key still blew his mind.
Because this key controlled size.
Large, big, small or tiny, he can control all of that. Well, that was what the Knowledge told him he could do.
After he fully understood the Knowledge in his head, Zenn frantically looked around him. He looked, but he failed to find single thing that is similar to what he was looking for.
He the ran off the hill as fast as he could. As he ran, he could not help but have a slight smile on his face. It could not be helped, what was in his mind was even more novel that any novel he has read before. So much so that even his 'ice mask' was overwhelmed and could barely keep its shape. He ran off without even consulting the two goblins behind him. His destination was the level ground with sand and dirt near the beach.
The two goblin looked at Zenn who was zipping through 'mountain' as though it was a mere hill.
With Zenn gone, they now had to get down on their own.

When Zenn reached the ground, he looked around again, but alas, there was still nothing simillar what he was looking for. As such, he opted to use his finger instead.
In the middle of the night, near the small beach, Zenn started writing words and latter. These letters not at all simillar to any languages known to earth.
If one looked at them, they seemed like alien letters or runes from an ancient civilisations.
Zenn wrote without stop, these runic letters were written in quick succession. So fast that Zenn started to feel his finger getting scratched from he friction of his finger mad the ground.
But he did not heed any of that, he continued writing and even getting faster. Because no matter how fast his writing was, it was not as fast as his brain. The knowledge he had stimulated his brain to come up with tens of complicated formulas. Of these formulas, he was only fast enough to write less than five of what he was thinking.
As such, he kept writing. Faster and faster till his finger started burning.
After while, he stopped.
Not because he was done, but because he had no space to continue foward.
It was then at that moment that he took a time to look at all these runic letters that patterned the ground.
And as he looked at them all from an elevated view, the letters seemingly came to life.
From the ground they rose and to the sky the soared. They flew and covered his view. They fused, the converege, they expanded and they reconstructed.
Now as they were in the sky, the ground was no longer fit to be his canvas. So Zenn wrote frantically once more, but only this time, it was all in his mind.
"Is this real?"
He asked himself. It was simple question, But that question seemed to have evolved into a monstrous complexity in which he doubts he could ever decipher.
After a while of writing, editing and constructing the letters in his head, he finally had a complete key.
Or if preferred, a code. A cheat code that determines a part of reality.
After all that was done...
Bam!
Zenn passed out.
