Blinking my eyes, I awoke on top of my desk, the beeping of constant notifications blaring in the background of my groggy awakening. Sitting up slowly whilst rubbing my eyes of sleep dust I soon saw an Ungodly amount of points flowing in...
My game had hit the stratosphere and broken out into the wider world market. Fallout was auto translated for every language as a natural feature of the game making process. All voice lines would sound native and every explanation in-text was equivalent to perfect grammatical structure for the language of the person playing.

More and more points flowed in by the minute as people were playing the game A LOT. Crimson had reached Act 4 and started the New Vegas storyline. Over 100,000 people had bought the game over night as my System sprouted a map and showed that my game was now present in the Chinese Market, due to popular demand. Japan was also now buying my game and almost every Western country was enthralled by my game... Over the next few days the system projected that I would gain over 1,000,000 Purchases on top of the 200,000 I had at present.
Compared to the total population of the world, the number was infinitesimal, but it was a lot of points for me currently. Watching the speed of the point gain I was going to break the 1,000,000 Points range within the next thirty minutes. The amount of people playing for 2 hours or more gaining me tens of thousands of points per pay. At this rate I would easily be able to make my second game much more impressive...
Rubbing my face, I stood up and walked to the bathroom; doing my morning routine. I then left my apartment and got some food in the hotel i was staying in. It cost me around $15 but it was rather fancy. They were a respectable establishment it seemed.
'Maybe I'll invest after creating my company.'
Checking my battle pass I was happy to see one of my missions already completed...

Right when I checked it the mission listed as 'Completed' and I began to feel a searing pain on the nape of my neck. Radiating heat akin to a hotplate I almost screamed out in pain. Being out in the open with people around, that wasn't a good look, so I calmly walked up the stairs of the hotel and entered into my apartment, where I proceeded to scream in pain.
"AHHHHHHHHHH! FUCK!"
"What the fuck- is going on...!?"
I sprinted to the bathroom and pulled up my shirt to reveal my back to the mirror, using the reflection to inspect the area where the pain was radiating. Golden light emanated from the edges of a geometric design, where Norse symbols intertwined with Futhark runes in an intricate pattern. At the centre of this radiant tapestry, the Horn of Odin rested just beneath the Valknut, flanked by a long, winding serpent to its left and the Mjollnir symbol to its right. Below this trinity lay the symbol of Freya, its elegance grounding the composition. Fine, luminous lines coursed through each of these symbols, weaving them together and threading into a symbolic interpretation of Yggdrasil's roots. These roots began at the nape of my neck, winding upward with graceful precision, blossoming into the perfect form of a tree at the base of my skull... Mimicking the beauty of Yggdrasil itself.
A sensation akin to heat spread through all of my body. Nothing else could be sensed, nothing had really changed... I just had a slightly glowing tattoo on the nape of my neck that seemed to be connected to Odin, Loki, Thor and Freya in meaning. Gazing at the battle pass it seemed that my reward, 'Freya's Blessing' may have come into affect. My mind felt no real change in my powers or my state, so I decided to simply accept the new badass tattoo and move on. As an Odinist, tattoos were a staple of the religion, so it wasn't really worrying to me. With the pain gone and a thrumming heat pulsing through my neck to the rest of my body, I simply carried on with the rest of my day.
Leaving my apartment once more I payed for my room, gave back the keys to the matron and then got in my car. My plan was to make my company today and to spend 1,000,000 Points on something in the shop to gain 5,000,000 Points for my next game. I had a very cool idea, it was going to be a game that had been awesome for a decade or two before greed got to it, and shitty development ruined it. An MMO that would bring in a massive amount of people, a VRMMO based upon a very interesting time in a galaxy far far away. Star Wars: The Old Republic, was my next game.
I was very excited for it as the ideas I had would completely make the game infinitely playable. But before all that, I needed to make my company.
Travelling into New York proper I went straight to a company consulting firm... Entering into the building I was met with a lovely receptionist who was a natural blonde. After telling her I wanted to create a company and wished to be as confidential as possible, I was asked to wait for a meeting.
Ten minutes passed before my name was called and my interview started.
"Ms Freya, it is nice to meet you, my name is Tarken Ladbroke." He sat down on the other side of a very organised desk. Files were place don his desk and from what I could tell, he had an empty word document open.
"I hear that you are wishing to start a company and need some help navigating the legalities and red-tape of New York's business world?"
"Yes, I want to create a company here."
"Good, good. Well, first step is to ensure that you have a plan for the company, industry it works in etc... Next is to choose the state you will base your company from. Delaware is a good choice I hear, although California is also not bad. Only problem will be the need to fill out some paperwork here in New York if you intend to run your company from here."
"Besides these, you will need to choose the structure of the company, fill the documents, open a business account, register with the New York tax Department and obtain your EIN from the IRS..."
I stared blankly at him.
"Of course, we will make all of these issues trivial... For a price. Our standard rate for this type of consultancy is ranging from $50,000 to $200,000 due to the standards that we apply to these areas..."
"I'll pay you $200,000. I want my company set in Delaware, my company is a gaming company called, Yggdrasil Interactive. Our motivation is to create high-end games without exploiting gamers or having gambling mechanics. Can you get this done by the end of the day?"
The man immediately began writing all of these down as soon as money was mentioned. His word document soon filled up with elements he needed to accomplish. A frown covered his face at my deadline but resolution hardened his face. He was feeling horrible about something, my intuition informed me.
"It is not completely required today, that would juts be preferable. If you could have it ready by tomorrow?" I threw him a bone and immediately felt him relax a touch. Seemingly he had something important to do today or tonight.
"Tomorrow is doable! We'll have it all collated and worked out by this time tomorrow." Smiling I took my bank card and swiped it on the pay-machine he had. Entering my pin number I deducted $200,000 from my original $1.5 Million. A large hit to my current funds, but I had a feeling actual money was nothing in the face of the system's brokenness.
Finishing the pleasantries, I left, heading towards a nearby Michelin restaurant I had spotted earlier. My hunger was apparent and no one would like me if I was hangry. Stepping inside the restaurant I was guided over to a chair by a maître d'hôtel. He gave me the menu and began offering me drinks. I bought a middle of the road bottle of red wine and asked for a meal to match the wine... He instantly smiled and nodded, walking off in a semi-hurry as other guests were receiving similar treatment from other maître ds.
Whilst waiting I decided to open my shop and check what items were on sale for today and what I could spent 1,000,000 Points on.

With immediacy, after looking through the entire list, I chose the Psychic Shielding as it was an immensely powerful ability that would aid me against Xavier or any psychic person who wished to see what they weren't supposed to. Occlumency was better in my opinion but when I checked that, it was ten times the Psychic Shielding in cost.
Magic in general was apparently very expensive in the system. I didn't fully understand why, but that was neither here nor there right now... The most important part was that I purchased the Psychic Shielding and I could feel my mind expanding even further and growing in new places. My telekinetic abilities seemed to have become stronger also as I could now feel everyone in the entire restaurant naturally without effort and felt that It was now possible to lift them all with some effort.
In addition to that sensation came the creeping feeling of that unlocked something slowly creeping out...
'I need more mental power to actually access that unlocked part of my mind...'

That unlocked element of my brain exploded into my consciousness, the power it held seeping into the cracks and crevices of my brain matter. My subconscious started thrum with effort as images of Xavier mansion transmitted to my brain in a small way. Emotions swirled in from multiple angles and I could feel a thin film of some sort of energy coagulating in the air... Electricity...
