Edwin's POV:
My mind refused to come back from the state of dazedness as I continued to listen to the words of the Fae King. He was abusing his own daughter as if she were a slut. I wondered why he was even scolding Celestia. She was abducted from here against her will. She was determined to never fall for that trickster again. Yet the Fae King abuses her?!
I pressed my lips in a thin line to prevent myself from speaking anything against the King. But the King seemed to notice my hesitation. He frowned and said, "Edwin, I can see that you want to say something. Go ahead—"
"Your majesty," I hesitated again. "It's just that…. Celestia is innocent, and I think it is not fair to blame her…."
I thought that the King would yell at me, but a smile formed on his lips. "You love her so much, don't you?"
