The ringing of the cell phone drew Xia Lu's attention downwards, and upon checking, she discovered it was an unfamiliar number, so she quickly dismissed it.

Not long after, the same number called again.

"Hello, who is this?"

"Lulu, it's me," the voice was strangely familiar, as if she had heard it somewhere before, "I'm grandma."

Since Xia Lu's father had never appeared after the divorce and all other relatives had cut off contact, she knew this couldn't be her own grandmother; it had to be Zhou Mingchen's grandmother, whom she had met once.

"Ah... Grandma, hello," Xia Lu hadn't expected that she would know her phone number and even call her, "May I ask what it is about?"

"Yes, Achen had his birthday a couple of days ago, but he's always disliked having us organize celebrations for him, so I didn't invite him over. Could you come to my house and take his gift back for him?"
