Hisaki patted her cheeks a few times. Beads of water trickled down from her forehead down to her chin. Her eyes stared back at her own reflection in the mirror.

There was no one else except her inside the washroom. Heisuke was waiting for her outside.

'Get hold of yourself, Hisaki.'

Hisaki chanted the same words inside her mind, trying to clear away the dark clouds that were still looming within her. They returned even when she didn't want to face them.

This was not the time for her to be affected by her previous life's hurtful memories.
