Mrs. Saeki was not at home today. A large group of patrons booked the rooms at Kubota Inn, requiring the management to call the staff who could come to work on the weekend. Mrs. Saeki was not excluded.

Because of that, Heisuke had more reason to stay in Hisaki's apartment. The lovebirds enjoyed the steamed buns that he brought back. Hisaki prepared a pot of hot barley tea for her old man before they sat at the low table.

"I really, really didn't expect that! Mom and Takuya hid about Dad getting injured yesterday. Luckily, it's not serious. Dad could be discharged in a few days."

While both of them were eating the manju, Hisaki shared what had just occurred within her family. Next to her, Heisuke was quietly listening to her ranting.

"You said the attackers... your uncle and cousin? The police still detain them?"

Arching up his eyebrows, Heisuke silently lamented how turbulence Hisaki's family life could be because of their own relatives.
