The husband and wife woke up early to prepare for their first shrine visit in New Year.

Hisaki was already in her furisode, a long-sleeved kimono. It was in white color with several motifs embroidered on the fabric; butterflies, red camellia flowers, pine tree, bamboo and plum.

This furisode was gifted to her by Mari. Because the temperature was cold, Hisaki wore a thermal vest underneath and had a white faux fur shawl draped around her neck.

Hisaki had always kept her hair long. For the occasion, she neatly put her hair up into a bun. A silver hair stick with small cherry blossom flowers adorned her bun. Hisaki kept her style tidy.

After taking her drawstring bag, Hisaki walked out to the living. Her husband was already waiting for her there.

"Darling, you look so charming today."

Hisaki couldn't stop herself from praising Heisuke.

With a helpless smile, Heisuke stood up from the couch. He approached his wife.

"You're gorgeous."
