Capítulo 6: Code Of The Wolf - Chapter 4

A few hours after the group had left the house...

_____________________________________

An ominous, dark red car was driving down the roadway through the forest, its driver making their way back to their hideout. It was getting dark outside, so the headlights of the car were turned on. Today has been a stressful day. Locating these kinds of devices aren't exactly easy, you know. Hopefully I can try to repair this when I get to the house. Finding those discs are hard enough, but the house? That was much harder. Given the fact that she had to search every nook and cranny she could find at Fazbear Entertainment about this place, it was very difficult.

Lucy was an ex-employee of the company, a few years back, she remembered. She even worked on some of the animatronic hardware at one time. But after what I saw that one day...I, no, I'm not bringing up those memories again. There's a reason I left, after all. Back to the present.

Several different thoughts were flying through her mind. Earlier today, she tried to see if there were any other abandoned Freddy's pizzerias or technology by Afton Robotics available anywhere else in Hurricane. It took her several months just to get to where she was at now. She even had to refurnish the house and redecorate it, too. When she first stepped into it, it was an abandoned, creaky mess. It looked like it had been abandoned for years on end. So, to make things easier for herself, she decided to do a little renovating herself. Those past few weeks of renovations really payed off.

Now she could actually stand to work in that house. Working electricity, no holes in the roof, and some brand new furniture made her feel at home there. She knew she would be spending a lot of time with her work there, so she decided to make the most of it. I should be back by now, though. I've hopefully got my eyes on a new abandoned Freddy's location, though. Hopefully, I can find some more useful items there.

She came to a sharp turn into the driveway of the house. The dark presence of the forest around her seemed very unsettling. Ah, finally. She made sure to carefully open the garage door and park her car inside of it before heading inside the house. She started stretching a bit, since she felt kind of cramped from all that driving. Now I can finally go back inside--WAIT.

Just as she was about to enter the doorway, she noticed that there were footprints along the dirt near the front. Human shoe prints, to be precise. No, that can't be right, she thought. She couldn't get too good of a view since it was dark outside, so she pulled out her flashlight to get some clarity. Let's see, from what I can tell, these shoeprints were definitely caused by a group. Too many different shoe designs. She could tell because several of the shoeprints had different textures. Oh no, oh no, oh no! Shit! Somebody knows!

In a panic, she decided to head back inside, only to find that the door was unlocked and wide open. Oh my God, what the hell happened?! Did somebody take something?! Frantically, she searched around the living room to make sure everything was in its proper place, and to her relief, it was. Okay, nothing seems to be wrong here. Next is the basement. I have to make sure everything there is okay. She quickly rushed down the stairs faster than you could say, "Tyrannosaurus Rex".

Once she got to the basement, she frantically looked around the entire place. Okay, let's see, the old Freddy suit is still here, that's good. Okay, the gorilla arm part is here, so are the other animatronic parts, thank goodness for that. She then turned to the wolf animatronic, the most important thing she had hidden here. Ah, at least nothing tried to take you away, you magnificent hunter. Ever since she was a little kid, she always enjoyed wolves. And this one was the best hunter she had.

Okay, that's there. Now what about the illusion discs? She went over to where she kept her little discs, where she counted them up to be sure. One, two, three, four, five...wait, where's the sixth? No, that has to be a mistake. I could've sworn I had six discs in my possession. She recounted again, and even checked under the work-desk to see it it had fallen down, but she eventually came to the conclusion: one of her disks had been stolen.

"Fuck! Those took me forever to find," she yelled at herself. "I can't afford to let this slide. I need to get my hands on whatever discs I can find left. I have to get it back no matter what!" She was both very angry and very afraid. Those discs were extremely hard to get ahold of, ever since Fazbear Entertainment ordered a recall on any and all suspicious technology produced by Afton Robotics. She was able to salvage some things that weren't taken in by them yet.

Just calm down, stay calm. Stay fucking calm! No need to take your anger out on yourself. Obviously, whoever made those shoe-prints out in the front must've had something to do with my disc going missing. This isn't a problem, just breathe in. All we have to do is hunt down whichever idiot took the disc away from me and get it back. Retrieving that item is our top priority. If we can find a way to replicate it, we may not even need to salvage these items in the future. But for that, I need to get my hands on this.

Lucy then got an idea. Hunting them down...now, that might be difficult for me...but not for a ferocious, bloodthirsty, efficient hunter like you. She turned her attention towards the wolf animatronic. The tall, menacing wolf towered over her, lifeless, deactivated for now. The girl gave a menacing smile. You're the best option to track them down, lone wolf. After all, you were programmed to be a hunter. And with the little upgrades I gave you, it's time to put that to use.

The creature had no fur, and its face was smooth. It had a long muzzle, and two pointy ears sticking out from the sides of its head. It had the general appearance of a wolf's head, though much larger than the animatronic animals at Freddy's. Running down its face was a long, straight split, exposing a very thin line of metal frame. A thick, plastic material covered the wolf's face in large patches. The wolf was specifically designed to capture its prey in two separate ways.

She then reached for one of her spare discs, and carefully reached out and placed it behind one of the wolf's pointy ears. The disc stuck like a magnet to the wolf's suit. There was an immediate and shocking reaction when this happened. The robotic, plastic-looking animatronic wolf before had turned into something you would see in a fairy tale, giving off static that you would probably see on a TV screen. All of a sudden, the lifeless, robotic wolf now appeared to look much more like a living creature now. As her hand touched the creature, a way of nausea affected her, but it only lasted a split second.

The beast looked much like a real werewolf, with thick, messy grey hair, and appearing to have four, sharp claws on each hand and a sleek snout. A frightening, misshapen, imitation of a werewolf created by the disc. It had long silken ears, and blue, self-illuminating eyes that glowed in the dark. The very feral nature and furious appearance of the wolf made it seem like it was a savage, bloodthirsty monster.

Something else about it transformed at the same time. Its movements were fluid and firm. The wolf's casing now seemed to have fur, skin, and flesh, though they were a little blurry, flickering like a trick of the light. The wolf stood in front of her, staring into her eyes, awaiting her orders. Around the gap of its mouth, it appeared that the monster even had flesh, and slight drool coming out of it. This isn't made out of fur or fabric, no, this was made by twisting the mind of the viewer.

Finally, the woman was ready to give the wolf its assignment. It stood there, awaiting the orders of its master.

"A group of people have taken something from me, wolf. I can't just let them walk away with it, you know. I've worked too hard to get where I am now. Finding those little discs is hard enough on its own. That's where you come in. You are the best choice for the task that I have. Look around for any signs of human shoe prints and tracks out backs. You're a hunter, after all. You're supposed to track and hunt down prey," Lucy told the beast with a smirk. "And now, you will fetch something for me. Make sure to find them and retrieve the disk. Kill anyone that might provoke you or get in the way of the mission."

Lucy thought about it carefully for a few more seconds before continuing. "Actually, wait. Try not to go TOO overboard with that, though. Only kill them if it's absolutely necessary. If you can't retrieve it for me, then take one of them as ransom for the disc. I'd reckon they would hand it over to us in exchange for one of their own. Understand?" Lucy finished.

The wolf nodded and replied, "Understood, Alpha. I will retrieve the disk for you." It had a very dark, husky, intimidating voice that gave Lucy the chills. She quickly realized something else she forgot to mention. "And also," she added on, "don't get carried away with killing the local wildlife. Try not to get distracted from the task at hand. Maybe once you are done, you can hunt to see what you can find. But for the time being, just carry out the mission." The wolf nodded and replied, "As you wish, Alpha." It began to sharpen its claws, preparing for the task at hand. "Let the hunt begin".
