Capítulo 4: Chapter 3
You are currently in the fire station in your uniform and with penny Sam and Elvis in the dining area on your break.
"Norman is quite the troublemaker" you said as the others agreed with you.
"Yeah he knows how to keep us busy" Penny said joking as you softly laughed along forgetting about Kyle entirely.
"I'm glad you're being yourself today. It's nice to see you smile" Sam said as you felt like it was a compliment.
"Talk about smooth" penny teased as you laughed knowing that she was just messing about.
"Have you heard anything about Daniel yet?" Elves asked as Sam and penny looked at him.
"Oh, the hospital said he's fine and will be dispatched in a couple of days" you replied not wanting to think about what happened last night.
"That's good" elvis said glad that everything is going fine with your brother.
"How about we do some workout stretches?" Penny asked all of you as you agreed to with elvis as Sam didn't want to this time.
"I'll just observe, I'm kinda sore so maybe next time" Sam said as you knew what he was on about.
You elvis and penny were doing some warm up stretches which were very stress-free and very helpful. Minutes late the fire bell rang as station officer steal's voice came through the speaker about a fire at the floods' house.
"Dianna, you are with me and penny" Sam said as you three got into your fire uniforms and got into Jupiter and headed to the flood house.
Minutes later!
You, Sam and penny are outside the floods putting out the fire as Sam helps get Mandy our firm her room which was successful and no one got hurt.
"Great job you two and very slick with the firehose Dianna" Sam said as penny patted your back gently as you guys headed back to the station again.
You are currently with penny as Sam and elvis were helping steel with Jupiter.
"Let's share girl secrets" penny said as you grew confused since you hardly had any friends.
"What is that?" You replied as she looked shocked at you for not understanding her.
"Well, I want to know more about you my bestie" penny replied as you had a little flashback about your old friends.
"I, uh don't know what to say" you nervously replied not sure what to tell her.
"Anything" she said as you wanted to tell her more but not too deep into your life.
"Well, my dad died when I was 6" you said as she looked sorry for you. "My mother committed suicide because of grieving my fathers death blaming it on me" you continued as penny stopped you since you were going quite deep and you only knew her for a couple of days now.
"You poor thing you never had that father figure you needed most and lost your mother figure and the blame was put on you. Life isn't fair" penny said feeling touched about your sad past but there was even more. "I don't talk to any of my family members because of my mother. But my father sacrificed his life to save a innocent girl in ponty pandy" you finished as penny stood up off her chair.
"Your father saved" penny said mumbled some of the last words into the hands she used to cover her mouth shocked.
"What?" You replied not hearing her clearly as tears started to come fill her eyes.
"Your dad sacrificed his life to save that little girl" penny said kinda breaking down as you stood up from your chair concerned.
"Calm down, it isn't anyone's fault he chose to sacrifice his life" you said standing beside her.
"But that little girl was me!" Penny exclaimed as you looked shocked at her as you realised that if it wasn't for your father you wouldn't have meeted this kind woman in ponty pandy.
"Is everything alright we heard yelling?" Sam said coming through the door as you tried to calm penny down.
"Penny is having a metal breakdown, I think?" You said confused as she hugged you tightly as Sam grew confused too.
"Why is penny crying?" Sam asked walking up to you as you patted her back showing your support.
"I told her about my past which is what I think is about sharing secrets" you replied as she got out of your hug and wiped her eyes then looked at Sam.
"I found out that I was the one that firefighter saved that day sacrificing his life to give me a chance to live but lost the chance to watch his family grow" penny said as Sam grew confused even more not understanding.
"The fire years ago the man that sacrificed his life for a little girl was Dianna's dad but I was the girl he saved from that fire" penny said as Sam looked shocked then at you in an instant.
"I didn't mean for anything bad I promise we were knowing more about each other" you said with a bit of panicked in your voice as he sighed.
"I know but I understand why you didn't tell us the other day" Sam said as he patted your shoulder as kenny quickly hugged you again then pulled away.
"I don't like speaking much about my past it's too traumatising" you said as Elvis and station officer steel came through the door.
"Hello" elvis said as station officer steel came to you.
"Shall we speak alone please" he asked as you nodded following him to his office to where he wanted to speak to you.
It too awhile as the chat you had about yourself with steel, as he wanted to make sure nothing similar happens here in ponty pandy like your father where he took out his last fire and his last breath.
"I will make sure that nothing will happen like that here I'm ponty pandy, I promise" station officer steel said as you kindly assured him that everything will be fine no matter the consequences.
"There's no need I'll be fine" you said not really wanting him to help you too much but he is your boss here I'm ponty pandy.
"There is no need to panic i will asure you that everything will be in control" he said as you gulped not knowing what to do in response for this too much kindness he is giving.
"Can I ask you something sir?" You asked randomly as he seems to be all ears for your question.
"Sure speak ahead" he replied being patient on what you are going to tell him.
"My aunt Louise is coming around this afternoon and was hoping to speak to me but mainly to see Craig so I was wondering if I could go home early, if you allow it sir?" You said as he began to quickly think mumbling to himself.
"Sure but only this once alright but let me know if anything happens, which there won't be" he said as sighed releaved before thanking station officer steel for allowing you to get off early just for today. "You may leave, but be careful" he quickly said before leaving his office more less intense than before as it seemed to relieve you of your stress quite a bit.
"Oh hi Dianna how's was the chat?" Sam asked as you stoped I'm your tracks.
"It went well but I have to go early today due to family things and asked sir if I could go early today" you replied as he seemed a little shocked that you were going early today but understood you went it came to family.
"Alright, but be careful" he said as you two parted ways while you began to make your way back home to see Craig and get ready for aunt Louise coming over later which brought shivers down your spine.
At home!
You managed to pay the babysitter her money before getting changed yourself sucks in a couple of minutes aunt Louise will hopefully be here.
"Craig aunt Louise is coming soon so be good okay little bud" you said before playfully ruffling his hair and sort it out after.
"Aunt Louise!" He said excitedly as you softly smiled that he was happy for his aunt coming but you really aren't even though she is your aunt too, weird.
It has only been 5 minutes when knocking was heard at the door so you got up from the sofa and headed to the front door opening it to see aunt Louise and her children which wasn't good they were well known as menaces and love causing fires.
"Where is my little nephew" she said pushing you out of the way to see Craig playing on the floor with his toys like a child should do.
"Please be careful" you said as the 3 little manaces came running after her with the most evil face ever like they were lambing something.
"Don't worry my innocent babies won't damage your.... Ugh... house" she said while looking around seeing how it was decorated but it was how you looked it. It was modern as hers was all fancy and rich like her awful personality towards you.
"Why can't they go out and play with the other kids their age like Sarah, James, Norman, Mandy and other more there are loads of kids running about" you said hoping to get them out of the house so they won't trash anything up.
"Oops" one of them said as one of you plants were sent flying onto the floor crashing while glass was everywhere so you quickly began to clean it up no matter how many cuts you get on your hand.
"Oh my that must be placed in a safe place Dianna or someone will get hurt" aunt Louise said as she sat on the sofa with Craig Beside her watching her type of tv.
"Oh will my mistake aunt Louise" you replied not wanting to make her mad by calling her out and scaring Craig so staying quiet is the best thing to do.
"Mum, why does Craig look like aunt Dianna?" One of her kids said as you managed to clean up the big shards of glass before grabbing a hover and sucking the small shards up so no one will get hurt.
"Oh now hannah, you must be mistaken he got his looks from me not his ugly other" she responded to her child as you kinda felt hurt about that but making sure nothing bad happens is one of the best things right now.
"Oh I see" hannah said understanding her mother's mean horrible words as you were able to put the hover away on charge while making sure that none of the troublemakers were in your kitchen which they weren't.
"Dianna could you leave so I can spend time with my nephew?"Louise said coldly as you felt offended that she is wants to kick you out of your own home so she can spend time with your son while with those menaces inside too.
"No, this is my house" you replied not listening To her as she gasped In response as she stood up to face you.
"Don't speak to me in that manner young lady! Did your mother ever taught you manners!?" She exclaimed as she was actually using your deceased mother as a excuse to yell at you.
"My mother is dead remember" you replied as aunt Louise looked at you like she didn't even care.
"If you were a better child then she would be" she replied as your anger was beginning to build up inside but it was better to be hidden.
"No I was a good child for my parents, it wasn't my fault" you said back raising your voice a bit to your aunt Louise as Craig got off the sofa and walked to you away from his aunt.
"How dare you speak to me with sure bad manners!" She exclaimed to you as Craig hid behind you scared while you stood near the stairs far away form the kitchen. "Oh my sweet children why don't you check to make sure everything is sorted in aunt Dianna's kitchen?" She said looking at her 3 angels as they rushed into your kitchen while sure panic rushed through your mind.
"Don't please this is my house!" You yelled wanting them to get out of your kitchen but you couldn't see what they were doing since you were at the other side of the room with Craig while Louise looked at you with a villainous smirk.
"This is for everything you have done to are family you monster" she said as the kids rushed out of the house while Louise followed after her as you made your way to the kitchen as it exploded sending you flying into the wall near Craig unconscious.
"Mama?" Craig said as he saw the fire and smoke as it covered the entire kitchen which it began to quickly consume the living room. Craig saw the evil fire before remembering what you taught him about the fire and call the fire department if he does. "There fire at home" he said smarter dialling the numbers to wring the ponty pandy fire station. "Mama is not waking up and we trapped in house fire" he said again as he told them the house address like a smart good boy he is before ending the call and joining you on the floor while a bit of blood dribbled down your head.
It wasn't long when the sound of sirens were heard out of your house but you were still unconscious while Craig was coughing from the smoke. The door was broken down by no one other than Sam as he saw how huge the fire was spreading in your house before noticing you and Craig at the back while he was passed a fire hose making a path way for him to get to you and Craig.
"Are you alright?" Sam asked quickly grabbing Craig taking him outside before coming back for you as you unconscious body was laying in his arms while the fire trapped his only exit out so he quickly rushed upstairs to your room trying to see if he could get out by the window.
"Penny up here I need the lift!" He yelled as penny quickly got up onto the lift platform and pulled the lever as the lift that was attached to Jupiter was coming up close to him.
"Alright Sam pass her over so you can get aboard" penny said as he slowly passed you over to her before getting on as he took you from her grasp as they made their way back to the ground while nurse joy took a look at you.
"She might a have a concussion but she'll be fine after I stop the bleeding" she said as your head wound was bandaged up.
Sams PoV:
Dianna's house was completely burned girl the bottom and going back as it was completely unstable so the house needs to be inspected and built so it won't collapse.
"Where should Craig and Dianna stay until the house is completely inspected and rebuilt?" Penny said as I really didn't want her to go back in there and in the state she was in.
"I'll take care of her until then" I said as everyone looked at me as I stood beside Dianna's unconscious body.
"But won't that be too much" Penny said concerned about her friends but I want to help her plus to create a stronger and trust worthy bond too.
"Everything will be alright until I find out what happened in there" I said as I picked Dianna up in my arms bridal style again before taking her and Craig to my house which was white close by.
No matter how long the house will take I will take good care of them both and hopefully explain to her brother about this but I need some answers from Dianna when she is awake and healed first before talking to him. I could use this time to grow a bond with her and show her how amazing ponty pandy really is without meanies like ex and family members.
