Capítulo 27: Red Gate
Gil: "It's tempting, let's go."
As soon as he said this they were enveloped by a portal.
Half an hour later, they appeared in a city. It was obviously a South Korean City but without K-pop. Abandoned cars everywhere, the whole city seems to be in chaos.
Baron: "A dungeon break has occurred huh."
Izayoi: "What is that?"
Baron: "Dungeons are the realm of the Magic Beasts and are connected to Earth via Gates. When a dungeon isn't cleared within 7 days of appearing, a Dungeon Break occurs. When this happens, the Gate fully opens and the magic beasts that were normally confined to the inside can now leave the Gate, causing destruction and mayhem outside."
Gil: "So a Gate has opened?"
Baron: "Yes."
Izayoi: "Good... Gil wanna do some monster hunting?"
Gil: "I don't see a reason not to do it."
Baron: "You boys go explore the city, I am going to make some rich guy homeless.", Saying this Baron disappeared leaving Izayoi and Gil there.
Izayoi: "So, where should we go first."
Gil: "I sense a huge amount of mana coming from that direction; let's go there."
They ventured deep into the city, bypassing the soldiers without being noticed, with incredible speed.
When they reached the Gate. They noticed a few people there.
Gil used an invisibility spell to hide them. Even the successor of Shadows Monarch couldn't notice them.
This raid was arranged by White Tiger Guild, one is one of the Top-5 South Korean Guilds. Baron has already explained to them about hunters and awakened humans.
Hunters are Humans who possess mysterious magical abilities due to the mana injected into this world. Even the weakest, E-Rank Hunters, have slightly abnormal strength and regeneration compared to normal people. Usually, Hunters will belong to a Hunter Guild.
There are 6 ranking levels based on the amount of magic power measured emanating from a Hunter, as measured by the Hunter Associations. There is an unofficial 7th rank, the so-called National Level rank, whose powers are beyond even that of S-Rank. There are only 5 people in the world who are at this level.
Hunters are further divided into classes on the basis of their abilities.
Fighter Class: This class mostly specialize in their high attack and defence with a higher preference of using melee weapons.
Healer Class: Those who have the ability to heal both minor and major wounds. They also can cause major buffs to increase their allies' physical abilities. powerful healers can even regenerate limbs.
Mage Class: Hunters who have magical abilities, this class can use their mana to create elemental attacks and blasts at their leisure. They also can enact curses and summonings to fight for them.
Assassin Class: Hunters who specialize in their speed and stealth in battle. They often carry light weapons like knives and daggers.
Tank Class: This class refers to Hunters who specialize in absorbing and blocking incoming attacks from enemies, they usually have heavy armour and high endurance.
Hidden Class: Hunters who are born in very unique and one of a kind of abilities despite their primary classes.
Ranger Class: specialize in long-distance attacks. Rangers are able to deliver high levels of damage to enemies with fast speed and have good agility. However, they suffer from low defences and are weak when in close proximity to their enemies.

The people gathered there were also a group of hunters. One rank A, seven rank Bs, and four rank C, for a total of 12 members.
They were greeting each as they were not here to make money. This arrangement was done, White Tiger Guild to impress Jin-Woo. But when it was the turn of the rank A Hunter….
"I don't care."
He simply walked inside the Gate.
"Well, let us get going as well."
The new recruits of the White Tiger also began entering the Gate one by one.
Before Hahn Song-Yi entered, she turned her head to look at Jin-Woo.

Jin-Woo crossed his arms and replied to her.

Izayoi and Gil broke their invisibility speel and ran toward the gate as Jin-Woo was sucked in.
"Hey, kids stop."
The people there were not quick enough to stop them.
"W-what the hell was that?!"
"V-Vice Chief Hyun?!"
Hyun Ki-Cheol, the assistant manager of White Tiger Guild hurriedly ran towards the Gate.
The three remaining employees of White Tiger Guild also hurriedly followed after him.
Once he got to the Gate, though, Hyun Ki-Cheol began freaking out.
"This… this can't be!!"
Hunters weren't the only newbies today; the new employees were also brought along in order to train them as well. So, none of the newbies had experienced anything remotely like this.
The trio of new employees looked at Hyun Ki-Cheol with completely stunned expressions.
"V-Vice Chief!! The Gate's surface!! It's changing to a red colour!!"
As if a drop of blood had fallen in it, the surface of the once-black Gate was now slowly changing to the crimson-red colour.
Hyun Ki-Cheol ignored the confused employees and hurriedly called someone.
*Click*
"Uh? Ki-Cheol-ah?"
"Chief!! It's the Red Gate!! The Gate our people just walked into changed to a Red Gate!!"
"What??"
A senior member of the Guild, Ahn Sahng-Min's voice became urgent, shocked.
"What are you talking about?! How can a rank C change to a f*cking Red Gate?!"
Hyun Ki-Cheol raised his head and stared at the Gate, now dyed completely in the colour of blood.
The ripples on the surface had stopped now, too.
Hyun Ki-Chole nervously swallowed his dried saliva.
"I don't know-how… but it's definitely a Red Gate, Chief."
"WHAT?!"
Red Gates are special Gates that, once entered, completely seal itself off and they will only open if the dungeon boss is killed or after a length of time has passed.
It is noted that even S-Rank Hunters cannot force open a Red Gate.
