Capítulo 6: Chapter 5: day 3

March 2nd, serenity farm off the coast of paldea.
Season: spring
My alarm clock goes off at 5 Am so I get up. After my morning and a simple breakfast of biscuits and gravy we all left the farmhouse by 6 AM and started on our individual chores that I assigned.
Gather fire wood
The lynians, Blaziken and Lucario
Clear out field six
Toterra, Metagross, mudsdale
Plant radishes
Myself, sawsbuck, serperior

Myself, Leafeon, Sylveon

Go fishing to stock the pond
Milotic, swampert, samurrot, Vaporeon, and dewgong .
My other Pokemon all go out and play or walk around the farm guarding it from intruders. This morning my dragon Pokemon came back from establishing their territory but most of the island remains undiscovered for the most part. So later today I'll explore with a few Pokemon. The fields get sowed and fertilized by 8 AM, all the trees in field six have been removed and chopped into firewood, as the boulders and large rocks set to the side for me to look at. Stone is a very useful material especially for building or selling to contractors. Some could contain ores of some sort or gems. I harness mudsdale and go to plowing the sixth field. By 10 am I have it plowed and planted my new heart lily seeds there. I nod at the work my Pokemon done as well as myself. Feeling proud I fix everyone some poffins as a treat for their hard work. My fishing pokemon came back with a few fish for the pond from a river outside the farm. I look at the fish and see five Small mouth bass, two large mouth bass, a flathead catfish, three Magikarp, two feebas, and a barbroach. Capturing the fish Pokemon and releasing them back into the pond. Milotic became very maternal to the two feebas and started helping them explore the pond.
I sigh as the alarm I had for noon sounds on my rotom phone. Turning it off and fixing everyone lunch which consists of special prepared pokechow. Giving table food to pokemon all the time is a bad idea I think. Thankfully they have tasted my pokechow and love it just as much as my cooking. Oh right I forgot to write down the effects of the biscuits and gravy from this morning.
Biscuit and gravy (B-): a classic staple in the southern part of the almia region. Cooked golden biscuits and pepper gravy.
Wake up lv. Max: wakes up Pokemon and humans fully removing fatigue from a good night's rest.
After lunch I called Goodra, mudsdale, Audino, Lucario, Delphfox, and swampert into their pokeballs and left to go explore the island. The farm is located on the most Eastern shore surrounded by a river that runs from the bay to a large mountain wall with sheer cliffs. A small valley runs along the river through the mountain wall and further into the island. The surrounding forest before the mountain wall is a deciduous forest while as it gets closer to the mountain and valley, some temperate grassland starts taking over. Having Lucario out I walk along the river, not quite next to it but enough to where it's always in my sights. It runs deep near the center giving the dark blue of the water meaning it probably has a under stream of faster water but also plenty of places to hide for ambush aquatic predators like whishcash, and possibly huntail. Gyrados is also on the list of potential Pokemon but I'm also weary of monsters from monster hunter, For all I know there could be even behemoths from dauntless/ dauntless awakening on these islands I now own.
By mid afternoon I've reached the edge of the forest before the valley and it's what you would expect considering Pokemon. Ursaring and teddiursa, Beedrill, kakuna, and weedle, the Caterpie line, a few Pinsir and heracross. Some deerling and their evolutions, several bird Pokemon such as starly, taillow, rookidee and pidgey. Some grass types like Oddish line and Bellsprout line, but the one thing different is the pokemon I am staring at, or rather a pack of them.
Apotonoths, the large herbivores in all the monster hunter games. Several adults and a few younger slightly different looking apotonoths. The pack mentality keeps them close together with the kids being close to the adults and close together to defend each other. I pick up my rotom phone and start taking pictures of the apotonoths before pulling out a notebook and start sketching the apotonoths from my spot. My Lucario looking around as she checks for danger as I sketch the apotonoths. Sure I could use the photo I got but this is just more for the feeling of the moment. After a few minutes the one of the apotonoths snort and alert the others. Soon they circle the young and make a defensive position around them. The defenders heads take on a metallic gleam showing the knowledge of iron head. Soon movement is seen the tall grass out on the other end starts to part. A large bipedal creature comes out of the grass. A great jaggi from the monster hunter series, one of the earliest hunts on most games. I prepare my rotom phone to video record this, wanting to see if the monster hunter logic applies to the Pokemon world.
The great jaggi rushes at one of the apotonoths with a soft glow flowing around its body, quick attack, but it's batted away by the apotonoths tail which took a metallic sheen, iron tail. The great jaggi howls and glows red, howl, before it crunchs down on the apotonoth that tried to use take down. The apotonoth uses flail slinging the great jaggi off it then stomps on the ground shaking it slightly before rushing the great jaggi, bulldoze, sending it flying and running away from the apotonoths. The battled apotonoth falls to it's knees clearly wounded, as the other apotonoths come closer. The bellow softly and a pink aura appears from some healing the wounded member, heal pulse.
I smile and start taking notes from the video and the just seen battle.

I pack up the journal and start to leave when the great jaggi comes back rushing at the young unprotected apotonoths.
" Lucario bone rush" I shout as my Lucario appears right in front of the young apotonoths and swings a glowing bone at the great jaggi sending it flying into the valley. " Hole in one" I say laughing as the older apotonoths come closer to my Lucario. I slowly approach the herd as my Lucario speaks with them, one of the young come close to me and playfully headbuts me. I laugh and gently stroke its soft leather hide on its young crest. It sniffs me then starts sucking on my forearm. I laugh as the mother comes closer and the young one goes to suckle her heavy teats drawing milk. I laugh at the young one as I stroke the mother her casually grazing as her young has its meal. After spending some time with them and having my rotom phone take note of the area, I sigh and know I have to find some way to map the islands. It'll be costly for sure but it needs to be done. Lucario and I walk away but I hear soft foot prints and turning back I see the apotonoths following me. I shake my head and head back to the farm.
Arriving by sundown I go ahead and feed all my Pokemon their preferred pokechow and gave some to the apotonoths along with regular hay that I got for my horse Pokemon. I honestly don't know if pokechow would be good for them or not so I'll have to wait for nurse Joy to arrive and give them a checkup along with my regular Pokemon. I walk back into the house and do my nightly routine before heading to the board.

- go to Paldea by boat to Porto marinada and talk with anyone in the lumber business for nails and tools
- visit the auction in Porto marinada
Nodding my head I go to bed and find Arcanine, Houndoom and zoroark in my large bed. I shrug and crawl in-between all of them and drift off to sleep.
