The next morning, Chu Yuxuan woke up early as usual. Since it was the weekend, he wasn't in a hurry to go to work. Lazily, he walked downstairs, made a cup of tea, and habitually called out, "Old Third, wake up for your morning pee."
Old Fourth sat upright in front of the statue of Guan Yu, holding a Bible in his hands. He glanced at Chu Yuxuan but said nothing.
Chu Yuxuan, preoccupied with other thoughts, suddenly realized the kitchen light was off and Xiao Qing wasn't around. Only then did it occur to him that he had sent Xiao Qing and Old Third to protect Zhao Yanan.
Bored, Chu Yuxuan sat on the sofa, sipping his hot tea. With his legs crossed, he watched Old Fourth reciting the Bible and felt a mix of emotions.

The trauma of watching his four comrades be gunned down left a deep scar on Park's psyche. His condition worsened after enduring more battles while working with Chu Yuxuan. As a result, he turned to religion, seeking solace in Christianity.
Eventually, Park's former superiors cleared his name, and although Chu Yuxuan was reluctant, he made Park return home. The first reason was that Park's mental health had deteriorated. The second was that during one mission, Park had been shot, and the bullet lodged in his brain couldn't be removed, potentially killing him at any moment. Chu Yuxuan thought it better for Park to return home to care for his mother. Park complied, marrying the woman his mother had chosen for him before her death.

Reflecting on these memories, Chu Yuxuan sighed, "Old Fourth, I talked to Old Second a few days ago. He said there's a good brain surgery hospital in Shanghai. How about I take you there one day? Maybe they can remove the bullet."
Old Fourth paused as he flipped through the Bible, then turned to Chu Yuxuan and calmly said, "Forget it. I've already been to the best hospitals in America. I don't have any hope."
Chu Yuxuan smacked his lips, "That was years ago. Medicine has definitely advanced since then! Listen to me. If there's even a chance, we should try. I'm even planning a marriage for you... that Dr. Zhou is nice."
Old Fourth blinked. "A man like me doesn't deserve love. Focus on what's in front of us. How long I live depends on fate. Don't bother."
Chu Yuxuan pursed his lips and said nothing more. How could he not take care of his brother?
In the afternoon, Chu Yuxuan was reading in his study when Wang Long called, saying he had found three candidates and asked Chu to pick one. Wang sent over three photos via WeChat.
Chu Yuxuan chose the one whose face most resembled Liu Jun's and instructed, "Start makeup now. The more haggard, the better—make it look like he's been imprisoned for days and just escaped. It must be convincing; no mistakes."
After hanging up, Chu Yuxuan returned the book to the shelf, put on his coat, and headed downstairs. "Old Fourth, come with me… Old Fifth, stay and watch the house. Keep an eye on all the surveillance cameras you've installed around the area. If you see anything unusual, call me immediately."
Leaving the Emerald Lake Villa, Chu Yuxuan drove straight to Zhao Yanan's house. It wasn't long before he noticed a red Camry tailing them.
Old Fourth glanced in the rearview mirror and said, "Looks like her again. She's switched cars."
"She's probably borrowed every car her coworkers own by now, huh? Hehe... Let her follow. She'll be useful today," Chu Yuxuan chuckled as he pulled out his phone to call Li Bin.
The moment the phone rang, Li Bin picked up. "Hey, Boss Chu! Finally remembered your brother, huh? Got something for me to do? Just say the word. My boys and I are bored out of our minds."
After some banter, Chu Yuxuan got to the point: "I do have a small favor to ask. It's something only you can handle, and you must keep it quiet."
"Of course! Just tell me what to do, and I'll get it done smoothly!" Li Bin responded eagerly.
Chu Yuxuan's tone turned serious: "I'll send you a location soon. You need to go to the film studio and pick someone up. I'll inform the crew. Once you've got him, contact Old Fifth and follow his instructions to take the person to Emerald Lake. Remember, this must stay completely under the radar."
"Got it! Don't worry, Boss Chu!" Li Bin assured him confidently.
After hanging up, Chu Yuxuan took a deep breath.
Li Bin, a fresh face, was the perfect choice to retrieve the stand-in. If anyone close to Chu Yuxuan or Chu Zhiqing did it, they might be under surveillance, which would ruin the entire plan. It would be like admitting Liu Jun was already dead, and that would give too much away.
Everything was ready. Hopefully, the "east wind" that had been tailing him recently would blow just as expected, making this scene a grand success!
