Capítulo 10: The M Word
That shithead refused to follow me home? To my quarters?
What damn audacity.
"You should stop pacing and think rationally." Adam speaks from behind me while he is reclining in a chair
"No. She refused to follow me even after knowing she is my mate."
"Would you follow just anybody who calls herself your mate?" Adam asks me
"Of course not. I can smell may mate for a mile." Like he is asking me a stupid question
"Exactly. But she is human. She can not smell you like you can do her." Adam clarifies
But rather than understanding the fact, another thing in his sentence riles me up.
"HUMAN. FUCKING, DAMNING, WEAK HUMAN!" I yell and smash my hand on a table causing the furniture to shatter into irreparable pieces.
"..." Adam simply sighs and says nothing more.
He knows me well. Anything he says now might be the factor of destruction.
The reason why I will angrily destroy more things.
*Crystal*
Still dangerously angry, I stomp into my apartment.
"What's got you angry again now?" Ariel asks me without even looking up.
"A lot of things." I manage to say before I totally burst.
Good thing I left there earlier before my anger clouds my judgement and get into a fight with a werewolf.
Because obviously the werewolves will take sides with their kind against a human.
And worse, a female werewolf. They fight the dirtiest.
I learnt from experience. I'll never do that again.
The Moon Goddess help me.
"Wanna share?" Ariel finally asks
"First..."
"First?"
"Yes. And don't interrupt."
"Fine...Luna." Ariel teases
"Don't." I simply say deflated. I fall on the lounger in the room and lean my back, tired.
For about ten minutes we don't say anything to each other.
Suddenly, I speak up.
"I'm going to Reject Damien."
"Damien... WHAT?!" Ariel exclaims
"And I'm doing it now."
I can't stand being teased or insulted for something I didn't ask for. It all ends tonight.
"You can come along...Or not." I say to Ariel before standing up and heading out.
I guess her curiosity got the better of her because she decided to come along. Just not right beside me. She was definitely hesitatant about it and as soon as we reached the house pack, the guards there stop us.
"Who are you and your business?" One of the burly ones ask me directly.
Just then Ariel reaches my side and speaks up.
"We're here to see Alpha..."
"Your business?" He asks again, looking between both of us now
"My friend here is his mate and probably the future Luna" Ariel told them.
She definitely knows how to make a human angry. Did she have to say it that way? I glare at her for using the M word like it was necessary.
