Capítulo 54: Chapter FIFTY-FOUR

　　I hung up as soon as I was done with the call, I had so many emotions running through me and I didn’t know what to make of it. For days now, I have been running on past fumes, not conscious of my actions or words coming from me.

　　I was feeling empty, a shell of the person I once was, be it the media or my own family desperate to ruin any chance of happiness I seem to have found, it was quite nauseating to think that I gave these people everything and what I get in return is hate and backlash purely out of selfishness or malice.

　　I have been avoiding everybody, only going to work and returning back home. The only call I expected was that of Adrian, who in fact, had something important to update me on. He told me everything that transpired between him and Diane in his office. Apparently, she wanted to dupe him of cash at my expense, it means that my dear sister still needed my name to get away with vile things.
