The roar from the Public Gallery suddenly died away, leaving only pin-drop silence. Hearing the disclosure, all of the councilmen felt numb. Their gaze danced between Elric and Renaud in astonishment.

"Mr Walford, allow me to clarify a few points. You chose a new head that isn't from the Zenira region. Despite the fact that you made your decision in accordance with council rules, we cannot agree on it because of the candidate you chose, and I reckon we should accept the elected candidate," Mr Aldrich elaborated. He was enraged with the Lord for changing his mind, but thanks to the erroneous head he nominated, his line became obvious again.

"I am aware of them, Mr Aldrich. But I guess you weren't paying attention to what I was saying. As I already stated, Mr Frithswith will serve as a head until we select the optimal nominee, who will, of course, be from the Zenira Region." Renaud cleared the things.
